Alpha Riley

There’s something in it for me dwelling on each person’s lives and scooping around knowing that there are mysterious truths behind what their lips limits to tell the world.

Lies.

Werewolves are predators in their own kind, not because we are capable but only because this is our nature. Our nature is to be the beast of the world. And it's my nature to know everything in this world because I am the Emissary of the Tri-Alpha pack. An emissary who digs every ground to know the information that is needed for the transaction.

I don’t torture. I don’t use violence. I just use my brain and dig a hole into the lives of every person that I dwell with.

I consume. It’s either I consume information or life. Nothing is in between.

“You’re new here?”

Sultry seductive voice. A high-pitched voice of a woman fills my ears as I stare at the market below me. I am at one branch of this tree, looking down like a king to some shitty wolves as they made the deal to some strangers in their life.

The thing is this kind of scenario makes me happy. They looked like a fool not knowing what they get into. This is the black market for werewolves, it’s either you market black goods or you market information.

I looked at the girl beside me and notice how she looks too strong for a woman werewolf. Her ash red hair is tied into a bun, some hairs are falling to the side of her face and she wears this black cape hoodie, which definitely hides her whole body.

“What’s your name, beautiful lady?” I asked in my usual playful tone. This used to be my façade as I dwell on the life of others.

Be naughty enough for them to not take you seriously, so they won’t know that your true intention is to consume all of them, including their life. She looks at me with these small eyes of hers. I have never seen someone like her in this land.

She looks fragile but not fragile enough to not protect herself.

“None of your business,” she said. That sultry voice is the very first thing that I notice about her. Well, her face also gives me some sinful thoughts.

Sinful? Well…

I licked my bottom lip and nodded. This woman has the courage to sit beside me and I gave her the credit for it. Besides, I’m not on my mission. I just needed to at least ease my mind from things going around in Tri-Alpha.

We’ve been training and moving around some packs to build our name. Our skills, wits, and riches won’t be enough to build our kingdom. We’re building a connection and Alpha Zach is not helping. He and the other personification of darkness made chaos earlier in our failed mission.

I don’t know what’s going on about them. I don’t fucking care.

“You like seeing people around?” she snooped, and I simply nodded. She’s right, though. I enjoy snooping around because I take pride in my work.

She chuckles and damn me! If her normal voice made me think sinful thoughts about her, her chuckles made my slack tighten out of my thighs that it actually hurt.

This woman is dangerous. “Why are you laughing, lady?” I asked.

“You’re an alpha,” she pointed out, and I raised a brow because of her keen perception. How does she know that I’m an alpha without watching my strength?

It made me curious and uneasy about her. She’s too beautiful to be a rogue and too beautiful to be someone who wanted to kill me. Then what is she? What does she want?

She nodded and hummed into herself before looking at the individual above us. Her slim body is beside me, her ivory legs are swaying and playing into the air.

“They’re beautiful, right?” she asked and I don’t think I have a reply to her observation because while she is busy observing the individual below us, I am busy observing her.

She’s a breath of fresh air. For someone who has an ash red hair, she doesn’t look heavy and dark. This is bad, right? My gaze observes her small face and her tiny little nose, then I didn’t stop myself from devouring the view of her lips, slightly twitching because she was smirking while looking at the group of werewolves below us.

One taste. I wanted a fucking taste of her lips, but I can’t because I might like it and everything that I liked was being destroyed by me.

That’s why I became like this. No, that’s why I chose to be like this.

“ Yeah,” I nodded whilst contemplating and controlling myself to just pin her into the tree and have a taste of her luscious lips.

If I have a wolf, it will surely growl out of excitement. However, that’s what makes us unique. The Tri-Alpha doesn’t have any wolves inside of them. It’s not a weakness but it’s a strength for the three of us because our wolves is ourselves. We’re in union of ourselves, combined, intoxicated by each other, forming a dangerous and strong alpha.

That’s why we’re called to rule.

Instead of my wolf, it’s my mind who does the thinking. One kiss and you’ll finally leave her behind without thinking about her.

One kiss. Just one kiss.

When she looks at me, I lost a string of my discipline. Her eyes and her lips gave it away. How can I meet this woman who made me want to give up everything in this world?

She shivers when I close the space between us. I felt her little body tremble as I graze my thumb over her lips. But then, this woman knows what she’s doing and I lost the last string of patience when she parted her lips for my touch.

I dive in. I claimed her lips like how I wanted them to be. Her soft lips taste like everything that I’ve imagined, and I just lost everything, just right there.

A silent moan escapes her lips and it only makes me want to devour more of her. To consume more of her and to devour her.

But then, I was pushed out of her body, and it shocked me. No one ever pushes me before. My cheeks felt a sting as her palm landed on my cheeks. And it shocked me more.

No.

It made me stunned for no woman had ever done that to me. It took me a minute to look in her direction only to see nothing but the fast gush of the wind.

Where is she?

Lust and anger consume me as I looked at her smirking before disappearing into the number of persons below. Whoever she is, I will surely punish her.
