Ch. 90

Ash's hand reached for the crystal. Grandad Artie's hand grabbed Ash's wrist, stopping him from reaching me. He lifted it up and pushed Ash back. Ash let out a low growl and extended his claws. None of us have fully shifted yet. We were all trying to win this without shifting. I can't exactly place the crystal on him as a wolf or dragon.

"Now Ash, that's not how we treat our siblings. You're mother has taught you better than that." Grandad was trying to be amusing, but it only added to Ash's irritation.

I got up on my feet now. Ash has knocked me on my ass twice now. I, on the other hand, have yet to land a decent punch or kick on him. He wasn't kidding when he said I wouldn't win this one. His fighting skills have improved so much that I would think years have passed, not just a week. I'm going to save him though.

Larminiel and Grandpa Stoic made their way to us now. They had gotten by the fire faster than Ash had thought. We all took turns trying to knock Ash down. Grandpa stoic
