Prologue: The Prophecy

The four great Alphas of the werewolf world walked gracefully into the Light Coven, where the greatest witch alive, Chloe lived. They were told there is a new Prophesy about the werewolf Kingdom and they had come to hear it. 

Chloe is a very great witch and she is a hundred years old. Her ancestors were known to be the greatest in the witch history and her Prophesies were always true and powerful.

The Alphas entered now and she was sitting on the floor with her eyes closed. 

“She’s meditating”, a witch said. “You’ll have to wait till she’s done.”

“Why did she summon us when she knows she will keep us waiting?” Alpha Reid, the Alpha of the War pack spoke up with anger.

“Alpha Reid, you have to calm down. I’m sure she’ll be done before you know it. Just give her some time”, Alpha Maxwell, the Alpha of the Intelligence pack spoke up.

The four Alphas present are Alpha King, Dwight, The King of the werewolf Kingdom and the Alpha of the Royal pack. Alpha Maxwell, the Intelligence Alpha, Alpha of the Intelligence pack. Alpha Reid, the War Alpha, Alpha of the war pack and Alpha Ryder, the power Alpha, Alpha of the power pack.

Alpha Maxwell, the Alpha of the Intelligence pack is the wisest of all the Alphas. He is super smart and all the other Alphas go to him for advice because he always know what to do in all situations. He knows everything about the werewolf Kingdom. He is also known as the walking library due to how smart he is.

Alpha Ryder, the Alpha of the Power pack is a very powerful Alpha. His power is equivalent to the power of 100 wolves combined. Even his appearance screams power. His ancestors are known to be the ultimate protectors of the werewolf Kingdom due to how powerful they are.

Alpha Reid, the Alpha of the War pack is the one in charge of war in the werewolf Kingdom. The War pack itself is filled with warriors, both male and female. He plans the wars and Alpha Ryder leads while the others follow.

Alpha Dwight, the Alpha King is the one with the highest rank. All other Alphas bow down to him as he is the King of the werewolf Kingdom. He is smart, powerful and also a warrior despite being a royal. All other Alphas report situations to him and he governs the werewolf Kingdom perfectly.

Four Alphas, four packs were the only Alphas and packs in the werewolf Kingdom. 

The Alphas waited patiently for the great witch to be done with her meditation and after some minutes, she opened her eyes. Her eyes were gold for a minute before it changed to their usual brown color. She blinked and faced the Alphas. 

“Thanks for coming when I called”, she said with her croaky voice. 

The Alphas all nodded except Alpha Reid who was annoyed for waiting so long. 

“Why have you summoned us, Old Witch?”, he spat out with anger.

“Control your anger, Alpha Reid. This is not a war front”, The Alpha King spoke up and Alpha Reid calmed down.

“Thanks, King Dwight”, the witch said and sat upright. “I called the four of you here because there is a Prophesy from the moon goddess.”

“The moon goddess?” Alpha Maxwell asked and the witch nodded.

“Yes. The moon goddess”, she said and immediately her eyes changed to gold and her voice became angelic. “I am Selene, the moon goddess. In just few years, a guardian of my own choice will rise alongside four special wolves that I have chosen. Together, they will save the werewolf Kingdom from perishing. The wolves will be called the Elemental wolves and they will be able to wield each of the four elements. 

“The guardian will help the Elemental wolves with their powers and she shall be their mother. The Elemental wolves will be paired mates, born on the same day and they will come from only three packs; The Royal Park, The Intelligence Park and the Power Park. The war Park is not included because the Elemental wolves will eventually need the warriors from the park. The Elemental wolves will be the Alphas’ pups. The elemental wolves will shift when they are six years unlike any normal werewolf because they are not just any normal werewolf.

“The Elemental wolves will each have a color representing their power and the element they will be able to wield. The Elemental wolves and their guardian will each have a sign on their hands to show that they are indeed chosen by me and me alone. Let it be known that the Elemental wolves and the guardian are my chosen but they will go through a lot to save the werewolf Kingdom from harm.” After those word, the witch eyes changed back to the normal brown color and she blinked.

“That was the moon goddess speaking through you”, Alpha Maxwell said and the witch nodded. 

“Why is it that an Elemental will not come from my pack?” Alpha Reid asked with his anger as usual.

Alpha Ryder scoffed, talking for the first time. “I’m very sure you were not asleep when the Prophesy was given.”

Alpha Reid looked at Alpha Ryder with anger. “And what is that supposed to mean?”

“Sorry, but you are not deaf. Why do you keep on trying to cause fight? We know you are the War Alpha and all these is expected but this is becoming too much. You are just arrogant.”

“How dare you?!” Alpha Reid spat and stood up over Alpha Ryder.

Alpha Ryder also stood up. “What will you do?” he asked calmly. “Beat me up? We all know that I’m going to break all your bones if we were to involve in a duel. So sit your ass down and stop barking like a dog. Instead growl like a wolf that you are and face me.”

Alpha Reid glared angrily and wanted to hit Alpha Ryder but Alpha Dwight shouted, commanding them with his power.

“Sit down the both of you!” he shouted and the room shook. He just channeled his power, which he rarely does, except on occasions when it is needed. This power is called the Ultimate Alpha Power which only the Alpha King possesses. Anytime he uses this power, all creature become silent and listen to him. The room he is in will shake and the trees will stand still. 

The two Alphas shut up and sat down just like he told them to. Alpha Ryder was never the one to lose it but Alpha Reid was pissing him off. He came to the conclusion that Alpha Reid has been nothing but a jerk since they arrived here. 

The witch stood up and adjusted her cloth. “I hope you’ll do has she has said and prepare for the coming of the Elemental wolves. I’ve done my own side and relay the message to you. Now the rest is in your arms”, she said and walked away.

Anger was still boiling in Alpha Dwight’s vein but he has a very good gift of calming down. He stood up and walked out too not bothering to look if the other Alphas were coming or not. 

They got to their cars and their Betas were standing there. Alpha Dwight turned to Alpha Reid. “I will like you to never behave that way again, Reid. You are an Alpha and I’m ready to treat you as one but if you try to disrespect yourself, I’ll gladly help you”, he said calmly.

Alpha Reid bowed and walked to his car with his Beta following him. 

Alpha Dwight turned to Alpha Ryder. “I know he can be a jerk but you don’t have to reply him because we all know he likes trouble.”

“I’m sorry, Dwight”, Alpha Ryder said and walked to his own car too, driving off.

One thing about the Alphas was that, they are all friends since childhood. Even though they have their differences, they try to forget all that and move on.

The Alpha King sighed and turned to Alpha Maxwell. “What do you think, Max?” he asked.

Alpha Maxwell sighed. “With what the Prophesy said about the elemental wolves been our pups, that means it’s our job to protect them till when they are able to channel their powers. Now the question is, who is the guardian?”

Alpha Dwight shook his head. “No idea.”

Alpha Maxwell smiled. “Don’t fret, Dwight, I don’t think there is a guardian yet.”

“Why do you say so?”

He shrugged. “Let’s say I just have the feeling. And I think that was a very interesting Prophesy and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
