Lost it

"I lost it" he confessed with fear.

When Lola heard his confession, she became furious. She withdraws her blade and slaps him across his cheek. Valmore fell down by the force with which he is slapped. Now his cheek has five finger marks, which are gradually turning blue from red.

Lola bent over a little with a furious expression on her face.

"What do you mean by you lost it? " she demanded angrily. Her eyes flashed into a shade of aqua blue, which scared Valmore more than he already is.

Valmore crawled back to move out of her reach. The side on which he is slapped is swelling, forcing one of his eyes to shut. Despite his efforts to move out of her reach, she pulled him closer by grabbing him by his shirt collar. She lifted him halfway up and to her eye level.
