CHAPTER SIXTY -SEVEN

Jenna's POV

I sat in class, surrounded by students who seemed to know exactly what they were doing. I, on the other hand, felt like a fish out of water. It had been weeks since I started studying business in secret, and I was determined to keep it that way.

My stepmother, Brianna, would never approve. She had always pushed me towards more "feminine" pursuits, like art or music. But I had other plans. I wanted to take control of my own future, and business seemed like the perfect way to do it.

I had to be careful, though. Brianna had a way of finding out things she wasn't supposed to know. So, I kept my classes a secret, sneaking out of the house early in the morning and returning late at night, when she was distracted.

It wasn't easy, but it was worth it. I was finally doing something for myself, something that made me feel alive. And as I sat in class, listening to the professor drone on about marketing strategies, I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment.
