"Demitri!" I quickly cleaned my tears with my palms, pretending everything was alright.

"How long have you been standing there?" I sniffed while I asked, my eyes staring at him.

I knew it was obviously red because I had cried a lot and because I could feel a burning sensation in my eyes.

"Don't try to change the topic Taylor, I know you very well. Why were you asking vixen to forgive you?"

He still stood by the door post, his eyes observing me keenly.

"Tell me, is there something I should know?"

"No, it's nothing. There's no need for you to worry about anything." I smiled, trying to cover up but the way he looked at me showed me that he wasn't in the least bit convinced.

"Demitri, I'm hurting right now, I don't need such question you know–"

"Don't give me that story and tell me the truth before I use my alpha tone on you. I don't like disobedient women and you're being one."

"It's nothing, I–"

He smashed the cup of tea on the ground without thinking twice.
