Earlier before he called his father about Tessa.

I had given my father the news about Alpha vixen's death and had started making preparations for our departure the next day when I heard Tessa call me through the packmind.

She had earlier told me she wanted to rest but then I decided to go check up on her just to see how she was doing.

I strolled down the hallway, smiles embedded on my lips as I prepared to go wake her up with kisses.

I got to the room but was surprised that she wasn't on the bed like she told me that she would be.

"Tessa?" I called, moving. Inside the room as I slowly closed the door behind me. I could hear the tap running in the bathroom and for the first time I felt fear. It had been a long time since I allowed her to come to the room and yet she wasn't done bathing.

"Tessa!" My face turned pale when I saw how she laid on the ground looking helpless.

"Baby," I called, rushing to her side but she was unconscious. I was however relieved when I noticed her chest
