Della could not believe the crap that she had just heard come from the man called Mister's mouth. Her eyes were wild and angry at the moment and her mind was in instant overdrive. Was he crazy? Did he really not know who he was dealing with??? Of course he will save her! He is her father, and her hero. And why in the hell does this man keep calling her "kitten?" This was all just to much.
Della instantly stood up and tried to speak. She moved her mouth violently and tried to say her peace, but nothing came out, as hard as she tried...no sounds at all. She was mute! She was suddenly frantic and angry and wanted to leave. Mister came from around the desk to try to calm her down, but when he came near her, she made a huge step backwards to avoid his touch. When she did that, she crashed into the couch and involuntarily sat down with a hard plop.
They both looked surprised for a moment. The man finally stepped over in front of her and lowered himself into a squatting position inside of her personal space. "It's good that you can't speak right now. I want you to stay silent and remember to smile tonight," he said softly. "I know that you don't understand now, but if you calm down and promise to do as I say, I promise not to hurt you and I promise to give you some information. "
Was he actually trying to bargain with her? Just then, Della thought that it was all completely ridiculous, and she started to laugh silently. Did he really think that she gave a damn about his information?? All she wanted was Caine. She would definitely NOT go along with it, as soon as her daddy got there, she would be leaving. However, Mister stood up just then and said, "Della have you ever heard the name Deena Jean Mosley?"
Della was instantly stunned again. Of course she had heard of Deena, she was Della's oldest friend and college mate. They shared a dormitory in an all girls, equine based school overseas for four years. They stayed in touch to that very day, but she wasn't about to tell him that.
She started to panic inside, but she put on a stone face anyways, and she stared Mister straight in the eyes...and lied. She shook her head no and then she turned up her nose again. "I don't think that you want to lie to me," Mister said as he laid his phone down on the desk in front of her.
There was a video live streaming and it was focused on Deena! She and Jason were at an airport. Della watched them talking and smiling as they held hands. That's when it hit her that they were at the local airport in town! 'Oh my goodness,' Della thought. 'They must be here for the party tonight.' Her mind started to run crazy.
There was no way this man could have known Deena and Jason, or know anything about them at all really, but there they were. Della didn't have to ask Mister why he was watching Deena and Jason, because she already knew in her heart. Her eyes fell from the screen and they instantly filled with tears. "That's what I thought," Mister said, as he interrupted her thoughts. "Now if you don't be a good girl like you're told, your friends will pay the price," Mister said cruelly.
Deena had met Jason while they were all in school. He was slightly older than Della and Deena and was a trainer in the school stables. Deena and Jason fell deeply in love after a long game of cat-and-mouse. It was pretty soon after they had finally admitted their feelings, that they had a grand Scottish wedding, kilts and all. There was even a slip up at the wedding because Jason had been dared by his groomsmen to go with no underwear. When he squatted down to remove Deena's garter, he had been drinking, and he had forgotten about the dare.
He put his head up Deena's skirt to remove her garter with his teeth. When he did that, the smell of Deena's body caused his body to react all on it's own. When he stood back up all of the photographers, along with everyone else at the reception got a good glimpse of a big reason as to why Deena had married him.
Deena was mortified. Her face turned beet red and she gasped for air, but Jason just laughed it off in his usual fun way, "you see boys, that's why I married her!" He shouted as he belted out a big, hearty laugh. Della smiled when she remembered this, and she immediately decided that she had to protect them, even if it meant losing her own life.
At any rate, Deena and Jason had moved to Scotland right after the wedding, and Della had not laid eyes on her since. Just an occasional text or letter. How could this man know anything about her?? But he must, because there she was on his phone screen. She decided, for the moment at least, that she would do what she could to learn more about who she was dealing with before she made any moves.
Della wanted to communicate so she softened her face and stood up. She was taller than normal on her stacked heels, so she could almost meet his eyes with hers. She touched his shoulder and it caught him off guard. He froze in place and he slowly turned around as she pointed to the desk and picked up a pen. "Oh, ok," said Mister as he opened the drawer on the desk and took out some paper. He laid it on the desk and pushed it forward to signal to Della that she could use it.
She sat back down in her chair with the pen and started to write. Mister noticed right away that she was left handed. That pleased him. It was a sign of good intelligence, according to his elders, anyhow. Even though he was being paid to marry her, he still wanted her to make a good impression on the elders in his family. When she was done writing she handed him the paper with hope in her eyes. He read the neatly written question. "Can you please at least tell me who you are and where I am?" The note said. Mister just smiled and said, "in due time, Kitten."

Back at the nightclub, Caine was brooding alone in his office when suddenly there was a knock at the door, but Caine was in no mood. "What do you want?" He shouted at the person on the other side. "It's Josh, Caine, let me in," the voice from the other side of the door said. Caine quickly used the remote and he opened the door.
Josh rushed in and he threw his tablet in Caine's lap, "look at this," he said with a serious look on his face. Caine picked the device up and he started to watch the video that had been cued. It was a security video from the ballroom where Della had last been seen.
It showed her saying goodbye to Caine and walking over to greet her dad with a champagne glass in her hand. The large, strange man from the video that was sent to Cat approaches and asked her for a photo. Della politely agreed because she is after all, a budding movie star. They all sat their drinks down and posed for the camera. After the photo was taken, Robert picked up the champagne glasses and he clearly dropped something into Della's glass as he passed it back to her.
Caine was immediately outraged. His deep brown eyes had gone black and there was ice in his blood. Did he really just see that?? Robert? Of all the people in the whole wide ass world, how could it be?? But it was, and he did see it... and he was mad as hell about it, too.
"Put our best men on Robert D'Rose' right now. He knows exactly where she is," Caine ordered his brother. Josh was older but not near as strong as Caine. Caine had thick wavy black hair, dark eyes with thick eyelashes, and he was tall and thin, but also very ripped. His red skin sat high on his Cherokee cheek bones, and he had a body for days.
While Josh was also tall, he was blonde with light features. His hair was long and had huge ringlets in it, and he had a short goat tee to match. He did have high cheek bones but his skin was not red, it was pale and his eyes were blue.
They were twins. Josh was six minutes older than Caine, but Caine was the stronger of the two. Their father used to joke that Josh belonged to the milk man and Caine to the mail man. But everyone knew the truth. Caine and Josh's father loved their mother so very deeply and she loved him, too. They had the kind of love that young girls sit under the stars and dream of. Their parents were very poor in money, but they were rich in love. The four of them were a complete unit. Until they lost one...their mother, and they were never really quite the same again.
"Josh I need you and Cat to stay here and handle the guests for me," Caine turned and said to his brother. Josh was taken aback. "Caine how can the party go on without you two?" He asked in an incredulous manner. "Josh we can't let anyone know for now that Della's father has done this, It could ruin his political career and we don't know why he's done it yet," Caine explained. "You and Cat will think of something. You two handle the party like nothing is wrong while I go figure this out," Caine told his brother in no uncertain terms.
Josh agreed and Caine thanked him as he grabbed his coat, keys and phone and he headed for the door. He wasn't sure where he was going or what he was going to do...but he knew he had to do something. He thought hard about it as he headed for his truck.
Caine stepped out of the side door of his club and he heard laughter and chatter as people were staring to arrive for the party. Everyone seemed happy and the atmosphere was almost alive on it's own. Caine was not born with money but he had made it the point of his life to pull his family out of the grip of poverty that had cursed his family for generations. And he did, at his young age he was already considered very influential within the community, he was also very loved. Caine had a reputation for being extremely big hearted and kind, so everyone who was anyone would most definitely be there tonight. Caine silently prayed as he was trying to decide exactly what to do next.
Josh wasn't sure how he was going to pull his brother's request off. He sighed as he dialed Cat's number and waited for it to connect. After a few rings, it did. He quickly explained to Cat what was going on, and she agreed to come to him right away. Josh hung the phone up and stared at himself in the reflective wall behind the desk for a minute, lost in thought and emotion all at the same time. After a moment, he snapped himself out of it and got back to work.

Joy had long settled into the private villa at the resort that she had chosen on the island. She usually stayed on the other side of the island where things were much more calm and far more quiet, but this time she hsd chosen Villa De Calliente. It was the newest and hottest spot on the Island. New couples and singles trying to meet usually go there.
Joy was not single, but she was looking for some kind of distraction from the pain in her heart. She put on her best sundress and accessories and started to make her way to the bar at the center of the complex. She wasn't paying much attention because she was taking in the beauty of the resort, when she accidentally bumped into someone and dropped her designer sunglasses. She looked up to say, "excuse me," and then she bent down to retrieve her glasses at the same time that Georgio had bent over to pick the glasses up, too. They bumped heads and laughed simultaneously.
Joy looked up to see the most beautiful steel gray eyes that she had ever seen. They were framed in a perfectly tanned face with long black eyelashes. He had salt and pepper hair that was meticulously cut and groomed. He was gorgeous, and he was smiling seductively at her.
"I'm so sorry," Joy said as she held her head and stood back up. The man did the same. "I suppose I owe you a drink now," the man said with a smile. "No no, I think it's me who owes you a drink, sir." Joy said in return. "Then I accept," he said with a smile still on his face as he turned to lead the way. Joy followed him, still rubbing her head and giggling the whole way.
They finally did make their way to the big, beautiful bar in the middle of the complex. There were a lot of very nice looking people in the crowd and the atmosphere was lively. The bar was under a cabana and open on all sides. There were huge fans overhead that had water devices on them that kept a light cooling mist circulating in the area. The gentle breeze was blowing the stark white curtains in and out of the huge open entryway. The whole place was polished granite and teak wood in tones of gold, champagne and white. But despite the view and the lively atmosphere, Joy still felt sad deep down inside. Even still, she kept smiling.
They made their way to the bar to find a seat. They managed to squeeze in between a set of couples who were already seated on the corner without to much trouble. "Excuse me..." Joy said with a giggle as she slid past the young woman and sat down. She looked over at her new friend and said, "Hi, my name is Joy," with a huge smile still painted on her face. "Hello Joy," he said as he took her hand and kissed it softly, "My name is Georgio. It is my pleasure to meet you." He said with a big cheesy grin.

Caine had made it to his truck and was pondering what to do next when his phone rang. He looked at the caller ID and saw that it was Josh calling. "Hello?" He said as he quickly answered his phone. "Caine we got a lead on Della's dad," Josh told his brother as soon as they were connected.
Josh told Caine that their team had spotted Robert leaving his house and that they were now following him on the interstate, headed north out of town. "Can you hack the GPS coordinates from his car?" Caine asked as he started up his truck and hit the gas. "We'll do our best, but Caine why is Della's father going north? Shouldn't he be headed south to get to the engagement party?" Josh asked.
"That's why I think he knows where she is. Tell the boys not to lose him, I'm coming. You and Cat need to get ready for the party and report everything back to me as soon as possible," Caine told his brother. "We're on it," Josh replied. "Be safe brother and let me know if you need me," Josh said as he hung up the phone. Caine threw his phone into the empty passenger seat of his new jacked up and chromed out pick up truck, and then he laid on the gas.
.......
Della was desperately trying to get on Mister's good side. She sat at the desk watching Mister read her note. When he was finished he smiled at her and said "All in good time, Kitten. I promise I'll tell you more after the party, but for now you just need to know that you are far from Caine, and all of the people who want to hurt you. As long as you are a good girl for me, you are safe." He leaned closer to Della and said very sweetly, "now please go prepare your mind for this evening. As long as nothing happens tonight, I'll answer those two questions at the end of tonight's events." With that, he left the room.
Della sat there for a few minutes, trying to decide what to do. All she really could do was lay low and wait for her father to arrive. If that was even the truth...and not something they had just told her so that she would behave, like trying to tell her that Caine wanted to hurt her. She knew that was pure bullshit. Only time would tell how much of the truth had really been told, and just how far that this guy was willing to go.
Even so, she had no choice but to go along and see, at least for the moment. So she followed the head maid, who had been waiting outside of the study for her. They made their way back to the bedroom where the make up artist, who also doubled as the hairdresser, was still waiting. She sat down and let the lady work her magic on her face and head. When the make up artist was finished she stepped away and allowed Della to see herself in the mirror. She was a true vision to behold. All but the sadness spilling from her silent eyes.
"All done," the cute, bubbly cosmetologist said, "Wow, you really are beautiful, aren't you?" She exclaimed, almost to herself. Della blushed a little as she looked in the huge mirror at her own reflection. Even Della herself had to admit it, she was gorgeous.
The big diamond tierra and the stacked shoes made her look so much taller than she was used to seeing herself. Her hair was put up as a pedestal for the tierra and it fell in large curls in all the right places. The long diamond earrings accentuated her long, elegant neck.
She was not used to seeing herself like this at all. Although she was born a beautiful and wealthy young lady, her tastes were far more simple. She was feminine but very much a tom boy at the same time. She loved being outside with the animals and rarely if ever wore make up.
Caine always said that she didn't need it. He thought that she was perfect the way God had made her. She struggled to hold back the tears as the pain of missing him washed over her again from head to toe. She was certain that he was freaking out right now. She prayed he wouldn't do anything to rash but she really wanted him to show up at the same time.
Della was growing more and more anxious. She thought that she would spontaneously combust before her father arrived. She couldn't wait to make Mister eat his words, he would see very soon how powerful the love between father and daughter could really be. She still couldn't believe that this man actually thought that her father would leave her there with him. 'Hmmph, you're about to find out, Mister,' she thought to herself as the head maid knocked on the bedroom door.
Della and the make up artist both startled at the sudden knock that broke the awkward silence in the room. Della nodded towards the cosmotologist again, and she ran to open the door. The head maid who was standing in the doorway, stepped aside when the door opened and the two very young maids whisked past her and immediately showed up at Della's sides. It kind of freaked her out every time they did this. They were like two quiet little ghosts that showed up out of nowhere every dang time she was supposed to go somewhere.
The weary Della suddenly felt a shock wave of life flow through her, as she understood that it was time to go. Della stared the head maid defiantly in her eyes and raised her elbows for the elaborately dressed young maids to lock arms with her. 'Showtime' Della thought, as she took her first step toward the door.
When the door was opened for Della to leave the room it was eerily quiet, too quiet for there to be a party going on. There were not even any house staff that could be seen. 'Has he even given the house staff a pass to the party? Or did it just take them all to run the event?' Della wondered to herself as she was being escorted to the staging area behind the back doors of the ballroom. Della was uneasy about the silence, so she turned to the young maid on her left and she tried to read her face. She had very long strawberry blonde hair with long ringlets in it. She had a tiny frame and captivating blue eyes, that weren't giving away a damn thing. That was all in stark contrast to the second young maid, who had white blonde hair. It was shoulder length and straight as a board. She was slightly smaller than the first girl but every bit as fair. It was obvious from their features that they were somehow related, they even seemed to communicate with ea
When Mister returned to Della's side in the waiting area, he had a HUGE smile on his face, "Hello again, Kitten, you look absolutely stunning tonight," he said in a voice so sweet that it made her want to puke. Although he was indeed handome as hell in the cobalt blue taylored suit he had on, Della was instantly furious. She did not dare to ask what had happened in the study, even if she could. In her heart she felt that she already knew. She was sure that he had caught Caine trying to rescue her and that most likely....Caine was dead. She started to panic again, but she somehow managed to keep it together. She wanted to hit him, or worse...she wanted to kill him. It took everything inside of her to keep calm and to not just bust him in the side of the head with the champagne bottle that was sitting in the ice bucket before her. 'Just breathe....just breathe...' she said to herself over and over on the inside. Jus
Caine, John and the two other men they had with them, all tried to slip out quietly, but the party was coming to an end and there were people starting to show up everywhere. They stepped out of the study and looked from left to right. They were on the second floor hallway, looking down over the main living area of the castle. This place was oversized in every way. It looked like it had been built for giants. All the ceilings were two or three stories high, the doors were all heavy oak. They were giant and they were all carved with scenes that looked like they were taken straight from a very twisted story book. There were whimsical figures in all types of settings, doing all kinds of things. Some were dancing by fire or fishing in a stream, but some were engaging in some very questionable acts. One even seemed to have a fairy wedding going on. It was incredible, someone had clearly put a lot of time into these. Caine kind of wished he could
Della sat under the hot shower for a long, long time. She tried to clear her mind and relax a little, in hopes of remembering exactly what in the hell had happened the night before. She closed her eyes and rubbed her temples, but nothing would come to her at all. She was usually such a careful person, she just didn't understand what could have happened. She was always in the company of people she trusted and never left her drinks unattended at any parties. Just how the hell had this happened?? She was so damn mad at her stupid self, and she was also so damned confused by her father's behavior tonight. 'Like really, what the hell?' She thought to herself as she cried. She was so tired, and her muscles were aching. She just wanted to sleep in Caine's arms for a while, and forget about everything that has happened over the last two days. She wished more than anything to see him again. Her heart was sore and her mind was numb. Sh
After Caine and John had made it out of the kitchen area safely, they knew that they only had so much time before the sun would come up, and then finding Della and safely escaping would be a much harder task. They scurried out into the service hall and into the service elevator. They were not sure where they were going, they just knew they needed to find her as quickly as possible and then get the hell out of there. Caine pushed the button to go to the third floor. It seemed like a reasonable enough choice at the time. They rode silently up to the top, there was so much tension in the air...Caine just knew something bad was about to happen. They drew their weapons just before the doors opened, just in case. That turned out to be an awesome decision because just as soon as the elevator stopped and the doors opened, they came face to face with Robert D'Rose'. "You mother fu......" Robert started to cuss Caine immediately. He stopped mid sente
Doctor Stone came running down the hallway in his burgandy silk robe with a big black leather bag in hand. "Get back! Everyone get back!" He shouted to the crowd that had started to gather around Della's body on the floor. His usually gentle eyes were now wild, his hair was a mess, and he was waving his arm in a 'move' motion. "Get back and let me work!" He shouted as he knelt down next to Della's limp body that was crumpled on the floor. The doctor had Zeek help him roll Della over carefully, so that she could be better examined. Mister had just arrived on the scene, still dressed in his night clothes as well. His face said that he was mad as hell. He looked over at Robert who could only look away in shame because he knew that this was his fault. All of it. If Robert hadn't been in such a hurry to save himself, Della wouldn't be here in the first place. He had actually put his daughter out here like this to save his own damn neck. A reputation a
Zeek stepped into the recovery room where Della was being attended to by Hallie. "You can't be in here yet," Hallie said curtly to Zeek. "I won't be in your way," Zeek said as he sat down in the chair across from Della's bed. "She's in good hands you know?" Hallie told him. "I know, but mine are better." He replied. "I'll get the doctor." Hallie huffed and she left the room. Zeek couldn't help but to stare at Della as she slept. She looked so peaceful, like an angel that had accidentally fallen straight out of Heaven. The sun light was reflecting on her perfect olive skin and it made her glow like some kind of celestial creature. He couldn't help but to find her absolutely beautiful. He secretly hoped that it would work out for her and Mister. He had been by Mister's side for about ten years now, and he had seen the women come and go. Most were just looking to be fed, but this one was somehow different. He didn't even know her, so he couldn't rea
Joy waited on pins and needles for word from Caine, or Della, or Robert. Hell, word from anyone would be great.. She dialed and dialed her phone until it finally went dead. She searched frantically for her charger but couldn't find it anywhere. She opened all of her suitcases and dumped out all of the contents on the bed and floor of her room, while crying uncontrollably. She looked on the verge of real insanity. Miss Jessie couldn't take it anymore, and she told her to go take a shower and try to relax. Joy protested and tried to balk, but this was nothing new to Jessie. She walked Joy through it with ease. She walked Joy to her room and went to make tea, but not before making sure Joy had everything she needed first. "Try to rest baby," Jessie said as she left Joy to her thoughts. Joy began to undress and she made her way to the bathroom mirror. She stopped to look at herself and instantly started to cry again, she couldn't even sta
Della and Queen Rebecca were having wine together privately in the Queen's rooms. Della tried to cheer her sister up, but she wasn't exactly sure yet about why she was so sad at the moment. Della was mid-sentence when a knock came at the door. She stopped what she was saying and got up to answer it. It was Caine, he didn't really say anything as he handed her the note that Cat had left for her, and he walked away. Della looked a little confused as she read the note silently to herself, and then she looked up at her sister with big, sad, knowing eyes. Queen Rebecca couldn't hold it in anymore and her tears started to fall all on their own, as she stared at the floor in silence. Della didn't say a word as she quickly crossed the room and took her sister in her arms. She just held her and rocked her gently as she cried. When she was finished crying, Della wiped her sister's tears away and told her to smile anyways. Even though it hurt to the bone, she still
Cat was in a wonderfully happy mood when she entered her and Josh's rooms and found him on the phone talking to someone feverishly. Cat stood quietly in the doorway with a glass of afternoon wine in her hand, and she listened as she tried to figure out just what in the heck the problem was. Josh hung the phone up and he turned to greet her. "Everything okay?" She asked him in a concerned manner. "Not really, I think I'm going to have to go home and deal with some things at the club. It probably wouldn't hurt for you to go look after your record store, too," Josh explained to her cooly. He had been pretending not to notice how close her and Queen Rebecca had been becoming lately, but there was no real way that anyone could be that blind. Their relationship had been cooling off quite a bit because of it. Cat tried to look like it didn't bother her to leave the castle and the queen, but Josh could see right through it. He didn't say much, just that
Joy had beaten Georgio's men to Uncle Benny's disgusting ass compound by at least fifteen minutes, so by the time that anyone made it there to stop her, she had already hung Uncle Benny from the ceiling by his wrists on a large pair of hooks that she had brought in her bag. She was calmly singing her song and unpacking her torture bag neatly onto a nearby table. The dirty little man was crying and begging for her to stop. Little did he know, that was just making things even worse for him. She heard the helicopter coming in and landing outside. The one that she thought was carrying Georgio's men, but she never waivered. She heard the men rush the house and discover all of the bad guys that she had just swept out, room by room, but she kept right on singing and preparing her tools. She never even missed a beat. She heard the men commenting and remarking on the sheer savageness of what they were seeing. That made her smile. She knew that they would
It had been two weeks since the funeral for Mister, Pearl, and Queen Esmeralda. Caine and the others had stood guard over, and reorganized everything. It had all been running like a well oiled machine, except for the fact that nobody had seen Justin the whole time. It was the common assumption that he had just left after Pearl's death. Caine had people search for him, but there was no trace of him anywhere, so he assumed what everyone else did, and they gave up. Joy had appointed a new head chef under the advisement of Kate and Sadie and everyone just moved on. It had actually been a completely blissful two weeks for everyone, it almost felt like a real vacation. They spent a lot of time together and made a ton of great memories. They ate to much and drank way, way to much, and they became way to comfortable in the castle life, but like all good things...it was about time for it all to come to an end. Joy's father had called her and demanded a me
It had been three days since they had lost Mister and Pearl, and four days since the loss of Queen Esmeralda. The air was thick with sadness as they prepared to say goodbye to them all. The castle and it's grounds were all decorated in black and silver, shrouded in a thick layer of despair, and coated with the bitter sweet feeling of definate change. Kate and Sadie had been appointed head housekeepers but their duties were suspended for a few days, in light of them being directly related to one of the deceased. Della, Cat and Joy tried their best to cover for them, but in the end Kate decided that she wanted her and Sadie to be the one's to coordinate it all because they knew Pearl best and they had been there the longest, so they wanted everything perfect. Everyone was gathered on the gala grounds, dressed in their most dramatic garb. It was a perfectly dreary day for it to. It was grey and overcast, and there was a light sleet hang
"Missing?!" The queen looked up and asked Caine in confusion, "what do you mean...missing?" She cried in despair. "I mean exactly what I said, my queen," Caine started to explain to her, "Josh and I went out into the hall and they were not laying where you left them, so we started looking for them and trying to follow their trail. We found bloody drag marks along with some huge wolf prints, and we followed them as far as they went," Caine said in a suspicious tone. The queen didn't say anything for a few seconds. She kind of just stared at him blankly. After a moment she finally blinked her eyes and asked him sarcastically, "well where did they end?" Caine got a far away look on his face and then he said, "well that's the strange part. They ended at the edge of the cliff over the ocean side of the mountain. It's almost like they jumped off of the cliff or something." Queen Rebecca sat up straight and her eyes got wide. "There's no way they
Mister and Pearl were both so pissed off that it was damn near impossible to hide it. Pearl took a deep breath and she tried to maintain her composure. She thought carefully about her words before she opened her mouth to speak. "My queen," Pearl started to speak, "I have been a loyal and faithful employee of this castle for more than twenty years now. I will admit that I am not always perfect, however, I beg you to understand that everything that I have ever done was with the best interest of Mister and this castle in mind," Pearl said eloquently as she batted her thick eyelashes. Queen Rebecca looked Pearl up and down for a moment thoughtfully and then she turned her attention to Mister. "And you?" She said to him in an authoritative manner. Mister looked as though he was about to actually explode right there on the spot. Queen Rebecca wanted to laugh at him so bad, but she fought the urge, and she swallowed the laughter back. He stood the
Mister and Pearl became panicked when they saw the weather changing like that. They transformed immediately when they stepped out into the raging wind. "It's happening!" Pearl cried out. The two wolves began to howl and wail, which made the other animals in the stables start up too. The wolves paced back and forth, following the force field, looking for a way out. Any way out at all. The two of them became so desperate to escape that they began ramming their bodies against the invisible force field as hard as they could, slamming themselves so hard that they were actually bouncing off of it and landing on their sides a few feet away. They did this over and over again until the wind stopped blowing and the trees had finally come to a rest. Pearl was so broken hearted at the moment, that she didn't even bother to get up the last time she hit the wall. She just laid there and whimpered for a while. Mister crawled over and he laid on top of her, in a
The queen hugged her great grandson while she tried to explain, but he just didn't want to hear it, so he pulled away making her cry even harder. "So you're telling me that now you have to die because I lost the duel?" He asked her in total disbelief and anger. "No, Mister, I'm not exactly going to die, just change forms one last time," she tried to comfort the already crying man, but he could not be comforted. "My spirit will be in the wind, and the snow, and the rain, the sunshine and every single flower you will ever see," the queen told him tenderly as she wiped the tears from his chin with her ancient, snow white hand. Mister and Pearl wailed and howled and begged her to stay, but no matter what, they could not change fate. They asked her what would become of them after she was gone and she told them that was up to Princess Rebecca now. They were even more distraught after they heard that answer. The queen hugged them one last time and told them that she l
