I couldn't bear to see my beloved pack tearing itself apart, so I knew I had to take action before it was too late.

Khalid had being weighed down from the whole tension and hatred and he still hasn't been able to accept that there was no way out of this mess other than having to wage a war against our own people.

Ever since the men had returned with the news of the other section refusing their peace gospel, he had retreated into being a shadow of himself.

The weight of disappointment and the shattered hope hung heavily on his shoulders, casting a dark cloud over his once vibrant spirit.

I watched as he paced back and forth in his study room, his steps heavy and slow, mirroring the burden that now seemed to consume him.

His usually bright eyes were now dulled, devoid of the fire that had burned so fiercely just days before.

The light in his gaze had been replaced with a haunted emptiness, as if he were staring into an abyss of shattered dreams.
