Chapter Four

It took Rosana a few minutes to calm down after getting in the car. She was still scared from what had just happened, knowing the bullet could have hit her if she hadn't gotten into the car quickly.

Blood seeped from her shoulder where the bullet had grazed her. The driver retrieved a bottle of whiskey from his car's safe and approached Rosana, who flinched when he stretched his hands.

“It will stop the bleeding and prevent it from festering,” he explained.

Rosana closed her eyes allowing the driver to pour the whiskey on her wound. She couldn't help but cry out in pain as the burning liquid stung her injury.

When she was calm, she turned to look at who had saved her, she saw a young handsome man with short hair, a short well-trimmed beard, he had broad shoulders, dark eyes, he had tattoos all over his arms, and a diamond stud glittered in his ear lobe, he wore a simple red t-shirt and white shorts but his appearance screamed luxury.
