Chapter Three

“Babe, what are you doing here,” Alpha Max asked, shaking in fear.

“I couldn't sleep so I decided to come and keep you company,” Luna Anna replied, her gaze on Rosana who was half naked.

“Good timing, I was about to call Beta Drake to come and take this slut away, you would not believe she came in here and tried to seduce me,” Alpha Max lied. 

He had secured his position as Alpha with the assistance of Anna's father, and he certainly didn't want to get on Anna's bad side due to his inability to control his lust.

Luna Anna smiled, she knew Max was lying through his teeth but this was exactly what she wanted, to catch them in a situation where she could have something to hold against Rosana.

“You came here to seduce my man?” Luna Anna asked in disbelief, deciding to play along.

Rosana could not dare tell Luna Anna that Alpha Max was lying, it was a grave offense to accuse one's Alpha of dishonesty, so she was overwhelmed with tears, feeling trapped in a difficult situation.

“Ben, come inside,” Luna Anna called out to her bodyguard, who came in immediately.

“Lock her up,” she gave him an order.

Ben bowed to Luna Anna and dragged Rosana outside.

Luna Anna approached Alpha Max, feeling a twinge of hurt. Years ago, he had chosen her as his mate and she had supported him in securing his position as Alpha after the previous Alpha, Nolan, was banished.

Everything had been fine between them because he was unable to find his fated mate for years until Rosana's awakening a month ago when he discovered Rosana was his fated mate and since then, she had seen the desire in his eyes to fuck her.

“What a weird way to seduce a man,” Luna Anna teased, referring to the scratches on Alpha Max's face.

“She did this as I tried to restrain her,” Alpha Max said.

Luna Anna grabbed his balls, looking at him menacingly, she warned him clearly, “You do not fool me, Max, do not underestimate me, one word to my father about this will make you lose all of this in a second, tame your wolf and keep your lust in check.”

She took a step back, her expression firm, and stormed out of the room. 

Alpha Max slammed his fit against the wall, anger rising inside him, he could feel Drey's aggravation, Anna had not only stopped them from satisfying their lust tonight, but she had also threatened his position.

“It's time you get rid of her,” Drey shouted in anger.

“Her father is too powerful,” Alpha Max protested.

“The more reason to get rid of her, do you want what happened to Nolan to happen to you? You will never become a true Alpha until you get rid of this witch, they fear her more than you,” Drey pointed out.

Alpha Max thought about what Drey had said. His wolf was correct - Anna earned more respect than him and in a way, she leads the pack, not him, making him more of a figurehead Alpha. 

“I'll do something about that,” Alpha Max decided.

The next day, Luna Anna brought Rosana's matter before the pack's council in which her father was the leader.

“This low-life Omega tried to seduce my husband, the Alpha yesterday after the banquet,” Luna Anna stated to the council.

The council members expressed shock at the level of audacity Rosana had to try such a thing.

“How could you?” Amanda, a council she-wolf exclaimed.

“I bet she could not control herself around him, even though Alpha had rejected her,” Peter, another council member said.

Edward Carnell, Anna's father, leader of the council, and also the wealthiest wolf in the Blue Blood pack, cleared his throat, prompting the other council members to remain silent.

“Are these allegations true?” Edward asked Rosana. Edward has a hoarse voice that makes it look like speaking is difficult for him.

“Yes,” Rosana admitted, lying against herself, afraid that speaking her truth would only result in harsher punishment.

The council members gasped, prompting whispered conversations to erupt among them.

“According to our constitution in Blue Blood pack, it is forbidden for a wolf of low status to make sexual advances towards the Alpha except if he desires for her, this offense is punishable by death or banishment from the pack depending on the gravity of the offense and how low the status of the wolf is to the Alpha, council members what is our decision?” 

The council members had a brief silent discussion among themselves before Amanda spoke up, “I think we should banish her, the reason for this decision is because she was the Alpha's fated mate, their bond might have stirred up her arousal causing her to commit this offense,”

Edward shook his head and asked the council members, “Are we all in support of this?”

Most of the council members nodded their heads in agreement with what Amanda had said.

“All right, following the pack's law, the council hereby banishes you, Rosana Stone. You must leave this pack immediately and you are forbidden from ever returning. If you do return, you will face a penalty of death. Carve the banished seal on her arm and lead her to the pack's border" Edward commanded.

Peter stood up and carved the banished seal on Rosana's arm with a coal of fire, eliciting a cry of pain from her.

The mark served as a sign to show she is never to return to the pack and if she does, she would be easily identified as an outcast and killed.

She was led to the pack's border by two guards and thrown out of the pack.

Rosana wiped away tears, feeling lost. She had lived with her father on the human side of the world since her mother's death until he sold her off to the wolf's world a year ago. She had come to Blue Blood Pack, in a car and was not familiar with the road back to the human's side of the world.

Eva gently prodded her to go down a narrow path. "This way?" she whispered, encouraging Rosana to go.

Rosana decided to trust her wolf instincts and started walking on the path. She had only taken a few steps when she sensed someone following her closely, she looked back to see who it was but couldn't see anyone.

She started walking fast, almost running as the presence grew stronger behind her, she decided to look back again and this time she saw Ben pointing a gun at her, she screamed and started running as Ben gave her a hot chase.

Rosana ran as fast as her leg could carry her, she guessed Luna Anna had sent Ben after her to end her life for good. Soon, she reached a main road with cars passing by.

She desperately started flagging down passing cars and crying for help, but no one stopped to assist her

A red Porsche car suddenly pulled up in front of her as Ben was about to close in on her, the driver rolled down the window and asked, "Need help?"

"Please, that man is trying to kill me," Rosana pleaded breathlessly.

"Get in," the car owner urged, opening the door.

As Rosana was about to enter the car, Ben fired a shot at her. The bullet grazed Rosana's shoulder as it whizzed by, striking the side mirror of the car, she shut the door quickly as the driver sped away to safety.
