Chapter 75: The Guilt

The door slammed behind us. I began to walk to my room without looking at Bryan.

“Where are you going?” he whispered. His eyes flickered.

I was in no mood to talk to Bryan about what happened at James’ house. So I just answered him simply. “I’m going to wash up, then get some sleep.”

“Wash up?” his brows furrowed.

“Yes, to wash up. If you haven’t noticed, I still have some of James’ blood on me.” I turned around to leave but he caught me fast before I could take a step. My body react, goosebumps spreading all over. I fought my bodies crave for him.

“Why are you mad at me?” he lowered his head and began to kiss my neck, my back against his chest. “I couldn’t control my anger when I saw you with a shirtless man all alone with him in that house. You know you weren’t supposed to step out of the house.”

I pulled myself away from him. “Am not a child, Bryan. You can’t leave when you want, then come back when you wish and begin to monitor what I had done or hadn’t done in you
