Chapter 100: What Really Happened That Night?

It was a close one. Evans pulled the trigger but I was faster. Using my wolf speed, I kicked the gun and the bullet shot through the clear blue sky. I quickly dislodged the gun from his hand and crashed him into the dirt. Evans struggled to get on his feet. But I pushed him deeper into the ground. He clawed at my arms with his claws.

Ingrid yelled from behind me. "Why are you so stubborn, Bryan. He wants his wife back. Are you willing to die for a woman whose father destroyed your pack?"

My fist froze at Ingrid's words, stopping me from throwing a punch on his face. Ingrid wasn't happy that Scarlett is here. She wasn't reluctant to show her displeasure. She was taking none of this in a good way.
