"Nah, I'll use my roll on." She replied as she dropped the roll on on her bed, heading for the door.
"Jesus!! Fay! Your perfume is too strong please, my nose." Abu said as he looks at me weirdly before coughing a little.
"Duh! It's my choice, I like my perfume strong. Deal with it."
I replied as I faintly noted that I might have over sprayed the perfume, but who cares, it's my choice.
"You're a case, I swear." He replied as he stood up.
We headed outside and waited for Amara to lock the door.
"Give me the key, let me keep it in my bag, you know you're not with any bag." I said to Amara.
"Ehn? So that we'll sleep outside today, right? I'll hold the keys please." She replied as she looked me up and down before tucking the key into her pocket.
I scowled at her.
"Whatever!" I threw over my shoulders as I led the way downstairs.
"Where's our Fay going to like this? Is it to that brother's house?"
Jide, one of the four boys standing outside the main entrance of the house said to me as he stood up and walked towards me.
"Haha..."
I forced out a laugh as I hasten my steps, I don't like Jide, never did from the beginning. He's always staring at my butt, and I've always hated unwanted attention.
Amara waved at him, Abu as always ignore them all as we passed where they sat before heading for the gate. Our gateman stood up from the bench he was sitting on and opened the gate for us.
"Thank you, John." Amara sweetly thanked him while I rolled my eyes. Typical Amara. I barely say thank you, which I myself knows is bad. I'm a case, even I know that one.
Trekking the small distance to the bus stop where we'll stop bikes, every where's really dark. We got to the bus stop and waited for another 20 minutes before we saw one bike.
I was barely containing my anger, the urge to go out no longer in me, I've lost the vibe while waiting for a stupid bike. I even wanted to go back but the both of them just didn't agree, telling me that's there's no turning back.
I rolled my eyes, as if they'll be able to stop me if I really wanted to go back.
The three of us tired entering the bike and managed, it was so tight. Oh lord. My breasts are pressed into the rider's back, I tried to avoid it but the space was just too small. This is one of the one hundred things and one things I hated.
Finally we arrived there and settled the bike man. Bright lights was scattered everywhere around the bar and people hanged around. It's a very big bar, I didn't know it would be this big.
We entered the bar and I couldn't hear a thing again, except music, loud razz music. The far end of the huge room is like a place for dancing, a bunch of people are dancing there. Abu called someone on his phone and after a few minutes, a tall guy comes out from the rows and rows of tables arranged orderly.
He and Abu shake hands before he led us towards their table.
Third person's POV
They were led to the table at the far end of the bar, Amara eagerly looks around, smiling at guys that's paying her good attention and those that were checking her out.
Fay scowled and huffed at some clumsy people that stepped on her feet or those that mistakenly hit her while walking past her. She was obviously not in a good mood as not a smile broke out on her face. She didn't look impressed on reaching the table, she looked around as if contemplating escape before she sighed and sat down on the chair beside Amara.
They were introduced around and as Amara smiled and tucked her braids behind her hair the moment she's paid a complement, Fay forced a smile and immediately faced her phone, ignoring any attempt the guys were putting in getting to know her more.
"These your friends are hot, damn!" One of the guys told Abu.
"Obviously, although they are off limits sha." Abu replied as he rolled his eyes. If these ones were good looking and reasonable, he would have told them to go for it, but these ones were just the 'smash and pass' people. The person he was really hoping to meet here wasn't even here. He let out a sigh as he got tempted to whip out his phone and ignore everyone here, but he thought against it, he wasn't Fay, fay is a badass, she doesn't give a fuck about what anyone thinks, he can never be like Fay. He didn't want to be like Fay.
Kelvin, one of the guys was rolling well with Amara, they were both drinking a bottle of star radler with 7% alcohol from the same bottle, with the same straw. kelvin still have an unfinished bottle of Guinness on the table but he felt it would be more romantic if he insisted on using the the same straw with Amara, it's obviously working for the both of them as they talked and drink. Talk, drink, talk, drink.
Fay sighed as she finished a bottle of a cold star radler, the dude sitting by her left asked for her name after telling her his name.
Zayn felt that Fay is too hot to be in a bar and press her phone although. He ordered a drink for her, telling her about himself, she didn't reply him with words, only with shakes of her head. Her pink lips glued to the straw as she dragged the drink into her mouth. She's really pretty, he thought as he kept on talking about himself. She finishes the drink, before replying all of his rants.
"Look, it feels stuffy in here, can you shift your chair away from mine?" She asked as sweetly as she could manage, don't people know how to read hints again. It's so effing obvious that I wasn't interested but oh no, the nigga continued and continued. Nigga please!
Zayn shocked expression on hearing Fay tell him to shift away from her quickly cleared away as he tried to think of another way to get the stuck up Fay to get free with him. Fay pulled her neckline from her neck and grimaced as it comes back to her skin like rubber. She's feels stuffy and held in, she have always hated this feeling. She threw a glance at Zayn and shrugged on seeing him staring broodingly at his drink. Maybe I was a little to harsh on him before, she thought before shrugging her shoulders again, who cares. She leaned against her chair and glanced at Amara again. Amara is looking flustered and a little drunk but not too drunk. She likes letting loose and mingling with strangers like this, it's a trait she have since she could remember. He's very good looking and dark, since she started puberty, her fancy has always been in dark an
Drinking down the warm cornflakes in fast gulps, I grabbed my head in my hands and sighed. A very horrible headache decided to wake me up from a very short sleep. °°°°°° After giving Michael my number I headed back inside the bar to get Abu and Amara as it was almost 1:00am. As I walked into the bar, the people who witnessed my little brawl with the drunk man kept staring at me till it got unnerving. I was almost shouting at them to go get a life but I dismissed the thought the moment it came through. I've had enough drama for the night. On heading to the table, to my surprise the table was ringing with laughter from the people surrounding it and I sighted Abu with a girl that wasn't there before, beside him. Even Zayn is back into the party spirit as he is a
It's 5:00pm, I'll be done for the day by 6:00pm. Our law lecturer; Mr Isaac asked us to do a research on the third part of the rule of law, type, print and bind it together, of course I forget to do it since last week, I did the assignment in school today before we headed to the school market to type and bind it. It's already almost the end of our law class, he left our class early, requesting for our assignments to be submitted and our names be written accordingly to the way our assignments were dropped. Toben, being the snake he was, bossed everyone around and made sure we were queued up properly before the submitting began. I queued up properly this time, in the very front line, the third to the first person, to be precise. Just as I w
Amara wrote her name after submitting her assignment andhat of Abu, she made a mental note to call him this afternoon as he's absent from school today which is rare for Abu. She walked out of the class and saw Silas coming back into the class.'That was one kinda scene' Amara thought as she passed Silas, but she stopped the moment Silas called her name."Yes?" She waited as she quickly glanced at her white wristwatch, Fay is an impatient person and might get too angry than normally if I take too long, Amara thought as she waited for Silas to say whatever he wanted to say before stopping her."Amarachi. That's your name, right?" Silas said as he stood before Amara, he towered over her as Amara is barely five foot four inches tall.
Stepping into the house, Amara shut the door as Fay walked forward towards the window overlooking the busy streets. It's 7:03 and the both of them are just coming back from school after the talk they had by the flowers planted in the school's field.Amara went into the her room to get changed so they can think of what to eat and go to bed. She changed quickly to a white jean short and a white small singlet, she's all about white, that's like one of the thing her and Fay have in colour among other things. She headed out and met Fay who's already changed into a long shirt. Amara rolled her eyes, it's not that late and anybody can still come knock on their door, would Fay now go outside like this? I think not. Amara thought as she moved to perch on the left side of Fay's bed. "I'm hungry, Amara." Fay said and Amara smiled. She really like and adore Fay, even if she's a huge piece of wor
" OK, alright, the thought did crossed my mind." He said and Amara raised a brow at him. "But then?" She asked and he smiled. He really did like her, she's sexy, brilliant, fun to be with and lively. He still wanted to see her again, he'll love that so much. He thought as he made to reply her."But then, I like you. So, I think I'll still like to see you again." Kelvin told her and Amara cheeks went red, it would have been obvious as she was fair skinned but the lights in the bar were dimmed to the lowest, she was thankful for that."Um, I'll like that too." Amara replied.Kelvin stood up and pulled Amara up too, Amara picked up her bag and made to leave with him, but she remembered her friends and stopped."I'm be back soon, I'm not going anywhere." She told Abu since she didn't see Fay anywhere.
"Actually I was only joking, I just guessed randomly since you said your days are mostly bad in school. I was busy throughout today, I'm just getting the time to call you now." He said."Oh..." I said then trailed off."Wait, you knew I was joking, right?" He asked and bursted out laughing when I remained silent."How in the world would I knew how your day went, I just guessed." He said and I actually started laughing at how dumb I was thinking before and because he's laugh is contagious. There's some set of people God blessed with that gift, and whenever they laugh, even if it's in a very terse situation or at a very bad time, you'll still end up laughing with the person. That's just how Michael's own is and I've got to admit, I like it. I thought."Alright, alright, that's was silly of me to think that
Maybe you should talk to him first, after all you were the one at fault yesterday' my subconscious reminded me.'No, I'll look desperate' I argued.'Then Amara would end up winning the attention of your crush. Nice' my subconscious remarked.'Not nice, that's unfair' I thought.'Just talk to him' my subconscious pushed again.'Oh kay, I will' I replied as I walked towards where he was leaning on the wall, tapping away on his phone.Amara was already inside the hall where we have our first and second classes for today, she's reserving a seat for me.
