   "You don't sound happy about that." I remarked, trying not to sound like I wanted to hear the reason why he doesn't want them home.

"That's cause I'm not." He replied drily.

"Duh, I figured." I stated with an eye roll.

"Good for you." He replied sarcastically.

"Anyways, I just wish we could switch places, my parents can be too much sometimes." He explained.

"I wanna switch places too, I miss my parents, it feels so empty here without them here."

It wouldn't have been so empty if you didn't kill your baby brother.

And, like that, I could feel myself already spiralling into another depressing state.

"Stop over thinking things, this woman." He chastised mildly.

A sigh escaped my lips.

"I'm not over thinking." I tried denying.

"You are. And quit sighing every minutes too."
