"You wish." He muttered out.
"Wishes don't come true, how would I now be wishing?" I slide the words out my lips smoothly.
"You win." He let out with a resigned sigh to my glee.
The joy stuffs like these give me, I'm definitely that bitch. I thought as I nodded my head before speaking up.
"Of course I won, I always win." I reminded him.
The sounds from downstairs distracted me from what Silas was saying on the other side of the phone.
I glanced back down from the window which I was currently leaning against, the black Audi was already parked neatly along side the remaining cars arranged in their normal position, I guess my Dad is home now.
Maybe that's why mum's extra late from work today.
9:31pm.

Slamming the door of the slick black Ferrari shut, I unconsciously combed the frontals of my wigs to smoothen the wispy curls down and tucking the long ends behind my ears as I headed into the therapist building, my sneakers clad feet glided down the floor, up the stairs till I walked passed the door which I came to last week Thursday.I grudgingly walked towards the table where I was supposed to write my name down firstly as a patient before seeing any doctor. The middle aged woman sitting down behind the table cradling different files ranging from colours to size scattered on the left side of the table while the right side displayed different patients cards in three different colours."Aunty, Good morning, since you can't greet." The woman which I was already starting to hate spat out her lips as she not so stubbly glared at me.What's this woman's problem now? This is one
"It was overwhelming." I stated.Very overwhelming."A good or a bad thing?" Rinola asked."Both?" I responded in a questioning tone.Even I am confused. It's definitely both."Both!" I rephrased almost immediately. The cool air pouring from the air conditioner helped in soothing me a little."Tell me about it?" She asked in a nonchalant tone, as if she wanted to know what happened and also didn't want yo know what happened.Like she's putting the choice in my hands without pressure."Sure." I paused before puffing out a breath."I coincidentally met the guy I told you I was crushing on last week Thursday." I started."Ooou, I guess you coming here last week was God's doing." Rinola added and I shrugged my shoulders in reply.
"Hiya!" I called cheerfully before waving at the open Mac before me."Fayyyyyyyyyy!!!" Amara dragged as she waved back at me with her two hands, her cheeks drawing high against her cheekbones to reveal her stunning smile."Oh my gosh, I've missed you so much, girl!" Exclaimed Amara as she pulled the net off her head, her long braids tumbling down her shoulders and waist, the colour of the braids mixed sexily, the tip of the braids, a bright pink colour, while the rest, a colour black."Me too." I replied before adding."I love your hair, it's so pretty and long." I gushed out before running my fingers over my still very neat cornrows, feeling slightly jealous of the hair. But then I remembered how I hate making my hair and how carrying that kind of braids can be stressful, so I shook the bubbling longing out of my head."Aw, thank you, it's actually longer." She replied as
"Wow."That was the only thing I could come up with when Amara finished giving me the details of all that took place between Kelvin and herself and to say I was short of word would be an understatement.Of course, I've known from the start that Amara wasn't a virgin, but still."Wow.""Stop wowing." Amara demanded with a laugh."Why shouldn't I wow? This is wow worthy." I argued as I watched her take off the big tee shirt she had on, leaving her in just a bra and shorts."Was he big?" I dared to ask, curiosity eating me from my insides.Curiosity is a bad thing, after all, curiosity killed the rat.Or the cat? Whichever."I am not telling you." Amara refused after a few seconds spent giving me a blank look."Why not? Tell me already." I pressed."Nope." She refused, poppi
"Wow, you called, I am blown away." Silas voice broke through the speaker on my phone a few seconds after he answered the call with me staying silent on the other end.He picked on the third ring, I was already almost calling the idea of giving him a call a bad idea when he picked.I still think it's a bad idea."I have a phone dummy, I can calk when I feel like." I snapped back in reply to his observing drawl."Sometimes, you act like you don't when you ignore perfectly good looking humans who were only calling to check up on you." He shot back.I puffed out a breath with an eye roll.Silas is such a baby."At least I'm the one doing the calling now, be happy." I reminded him as I stared wearily into the cup of hot steaming cocoa on the glassy transparent table before me while I sat by it with legs folded underneath me, the table reaching just below my br
"You don't sound happy about that." I remarked, trying not to sound like I wanted to hear the reason why he doesn't want them home."That's cause I'm not." He replied drily."Duh, I figured." I stated with an eye roll."Good for you." He replied sarcastically."Anyways, I just wish we could switch places, my parents can be too much sometimes." He explained."I wanna switch places too, I miss my parents, it feels so empty here without them here."It wouldn't have been so empty if you didn't kill your baby brother. And, like that, I could feel myself already spiralling into another depressing state."Stop over thinking things, this woman." He chastised mildly.A sigh escaped my lips."I'm not over thinking." I tried denying."You are. And quit sighing every minutes too."
What am I supposed to wear now?"Wear something light." Silas words echoed in my head.I sighed in irritation and confusion. It's 03:34pm, and I haven't the slightest idea of what to wear.Urg! This is so stressful. Why didn't I ask him to be more specific yesterday when he said I should wear something nice.Instead, I replied stupidly when I didn't even know what to get dressed in.What's the definition of "something light" in the first place?Hm, let's see...Singlets Camisoles Crop topsSleeveless dressesShortsSmall skirtsSummer dressesKnee length shortsSleeveless topsSpaghetti topsShivon?Nets Bla
The sound of the running engine finally going quiet made me let out a relieved sigh as I held unto Silas arm before carefully hopping off the back seat and releasing my tight hold on his biceps. He pulled the head helmet off his head and threw it in the air twice while making them twirl in the air before coming down into his outstretched palms before turning sideways to give me a cocky look."So, how was the ride?""Horrible. You were going too fast and didn't even consider the fact that I might fall off each time you take a u - turn or a curve." I paused to take in deep breaths as I tried unbuckling the stupid head helmet still pressing down on my curls."It was horrible." I finally managed to unbuckle the head helmet, pulling it away from my head carefully to avoid my wig from following suit before stretching my hand out with the head helmet clutched in it."Here's your head helmet."
