Ciara entered the luxury apartment weakly along with Samuel and Aunt Mary. Aunt Mary was being rolled in by Samuel. They tried to dissuade Aunt Mary from following them to the apartment, but she vehemently refused and insisted she followed them.

One of the reasons that neither Ciara nor Samuel wanted Aunt Mary to follow them to the apartment after Ciara was discharged from the hospital is because they did not want her to find out that Samuel has not actually been living in the apartment with Ciara.
