She tried to quell the mayhems from the background as she ambled on her feet. She didn't care as her bare foot railed against on the floor hastily, she only cared about the tiny infant in her arms, sound asleep while sucking on her thumb, cute she would have purred as she usually did but she couldn't, not anymore, not when they were coming for her, she would have to cut their time with each other short.
As she hurried down the hall, a hoody over her head and the baby wrapped in a blanket, no one paid her mind as they walked past her, giving her weird looks but no one dared to ask, after all, she was the boss's wife.
Finally, the woman stopped in front of a door and knocked on it, the door swung open after a few more knocks and a young lady appeared, eyes widening at the sight of the person at her footstep.
Blue orbs stared scaredly into another set of oceanic orbs. "What are you doing here, Zelena?" The lady who just walked out from her room asked while the other woman known as Zelena glanced at every corner of the hallway, scanning for any suspicious eyes but she found none, she watched as the servants cleaning the hall went on with their works, clearly minding their business.
"Can I come in?" Zelena requested, staring back at the other hopefully. Gulping as she found a blank look on her face, her facial expressions read nothing and Zelena couldn't help but feel anxious, after all, they had never gotten along, what right did she have to ask of a favor from her but she was the only she could trust, their lives were in danger and she wouldn't drag her innocent daughter into this just because the gods decided to use her instead. "Please Mara"
The lady, Mara sighed before nodding and letting the other person with a baby in hand enter her room, slowly shutting the door behind her.
"What do you want Zelena, am not in the mood to have an outrageous fight with you" Mara instantly attacked as she reeled, crossing her arms over her chest, her blue eyes showing nothing but resentment for the other woman. What did she want?!
Zelena gulped, she could feel her throat tightening, she could feel her chest burn as she held the baby securely in her arms. "Please help me, Mara, you're the only one I could trust with this"
Mara scoffed and let her hands drop. She couldn't believe the audacity of this woman, seeking help from her when she remembered how she was humiliated by this same person because she once asked her for help. "What makes you think am gonna help a bitch as yourself and what in heavens name do you want my help with?"
The woman gulped once again, helplessness suddenly overwhelming her. "My daughter, She's an Omega"
Mara raised an eyebrow, unaffected by the announcement "So? - your daughter isn't the only Omega wolf" They were omegas too.
Who cared if her daughter was an Omega?
Slowly, the woman with the baby stepped forward, she held her hand out, where a piece of paper lay, she extended it out to Mara, who stared at it blankly, not wanting to accept but Zelena urged her to accept it. "You might want to see what's inside, I swear it benefits you"
With a scoff, Mara snatched the paper from the other and unfolded it. She stared unsurely at Zelena before scanning through the content on the paper and her eyes widened as her brain processed each word that was neatly written and sharply, her blue orbs met Zelena's helpless ones.
"She's the key, Mara and they are coming for her"
To be continuing...!
Reclining in an office all day could be monochromatic and depleting, well that was for some people but not the young alpha wolf sitting elegantly behind a large sliver desk, his hands working facilitatively as they pressed on the keyboard of his lab top, his organ of vision gunked to the flat screen. His hair was a maximum length, pulled back into a low ponytail, leaving a few strands near the front, and was tucked behind his left ear while the right side was braided. His weight was broad, bulky, and generously padded. His shoulders were beefy, active, wearing a black suit, he was durable and lusty. And let not forget his eyes, they were a gunmetal blue that looked as deep and seem to have a dark spark in them but what could be expected for an Alpha but his expression was gelid, no knife could compare to the sharpness of his jawline. His face was coagulated, stoic, and frosty that nearly sent the tempe
It was opaque, dusky, if it hadn't been for the brilliant moon that glistened up in the night sky, she was sure she would be galloping straight into trees. She scampered deeper into the woody heaven, rushing on her paws. The whistling sound of the wing around the trucks was brutal and it slapped severely on her cheeks, snapping of branches, crinkly floors and the twigs were crunching under her paw could be heard, followed by her panting breathes. The smell of animal scent, rotting wood, and skunk weed broke through her nose and she nearly gagged in the air but not powerful as her distress pheromones that followed her through the dark, dry forest. The earthy air, the acidic taste, and the taste of her sweat spread on her tongue. A surge of adrenaline rushed through her as she forced her legs to move faster and harder. She reeled her head back for a moment and noticed how her pursuers increased their speed, she pushed hers
Time went by a whirlwind for Scarlett and the wedding day came upon them. The Omega wolf soughed dejected as she aspected her reflection in the bathroom mirror, she was finally getting mated.“What a good day to die today’ she gibbed painfully.Shaking her head grievously, she strolled out of the bathroom, a robe covering her bare body as she came out to the hotel room she had been staying in for the past two days, her future mother-in-law was a very persistent woman. She slowly squatted on the bed and gazed intensively at her white wedding dress. She soughed for the hundredth time since she woke up that morning. Mating ceremonies were now held like normal weddings where they had to take vows and wear rings but the mate mark on the neck was the most essential thing, it showed she was claimed. She flipped her plum brown hair off her shoulders.Who would blame her? She was a polite soul and
With an unforeseen bull, the door of the apartment burst open without admonitory and two pairs of ballistic heels ambled in, forecasting the ones inside.“Mara!” The owner of those heels vociferated as she continued to storm into the house as if she inhabited it and a woman came scrambling down the stairs, a little boy at the age of five shadowing her steps but she instantly halted as she saw the unanticipated visitant in her domicile, instantly the middle-aged omega exhorted her son to return to his bedroom while she loomed her fellow Omega.“Zelena, what are you doing in my residence, how did you come to know where I live?” She pointed her index finger accusingly at the foaming omega. With a puff, Zelena threw her handbag on the floor and took an ominous step towards Mara who stood her grounds unflinching, not irked by her presence. Both their blue orbs grimaced at each other. “I divulged
Again and again, her body repeatedly met the arduous concrete wall and for the fifth time, she landed on the ground with a thud, wheezing heavily as she suddenly felt a feeling in her stomach swelling, her head battering and her vision went in haloes. She swore she would pass out if this persisted. She remained on the frosted ground, the sweats and tears making her black hair feel sticky on her body but a Yelp left her lips when her back met the ground again, she could feel every joint in her aching while five fingers tightly wrapped themselves around her neck, keeping her pressed against the wall, the pressure tightening.Slowly, her dull brown orbs met his dark one, noticing nothing but resentment, malice, and a glint of evil that made her quiver."Still not going to talk?" Zinan derided, the silly omega was more formidable than he gave her credit for."You preposterous Alpha, you never said what you wanted!" With a swing of her legs, she had n
Reid unclogged the hotel room door for his wedded wife, Scarlet. Scarlet hesitantly sauntered in through the door that was being held open by Reid. She briskly went to one corner of the room, her hands nervously held in front of her, dithered and sweating, eyeing her wedding dress that brushed against the floor. She could feel her heart hammering beneath her clothed chest. Feeling fraughed, she inspected the hotel room they would be spending the night in. The room was lavished and expansive. A large looking bed at the middle with red and white color sheets and a sparking headstand. The bed was covered with red roses scattered all over. The room looked neither too feminine nor too muscular, the walls were lighted colored, the curtains on the wall were golden along with a sofa and a tea table, a large wardrobe at the corner, and in the middle of the room was a glass table with a bottle of wine and two glasses. Scarlet shook her head abhorrently, everything looked so r
Hmmm…. Scarlet stretched her hands backward as her ambers eyes slowly fluttered open but, immediately shut them back due to the bright light coming from the glass windows that had the curtains wide opened. Finally adjusting, she opened them again. Leisurely, she sat upright, the bedsheets covering her lower body. Scarlet rubbed her still sleepy eyes as she tried to recall how she landed in a fancy-looking room. And just like lightning, everything came rushing back with full force. From the wedding to the reception to her falling asleep on the sofa while reading a magazine. But, how did she end up on the bed? With a disoriented mind, she scratched her messy brown hair followed by a thud on the door. Lazily, she dragged herself out of bed and slouched to the door. She unlocked it to find two unfamiliar faces, a male dressed casually and a female in office attire but she assimilate the man from th
“This is the bedchamber” Katty spouted as she unlocked a door. Scarlet slowly sauntered inside and her mouth instantly hit the floor at the awing sight. It was luxurious, intimate, serene, sophisticated, fresh, and inviting, Scarlet used all the words she knew that could describe what she saw as walked deeper into the room, admiring the spacious space, it was ten times bigger and nothing she had ever seen before. The designs were soft, using soothing grey and sliver to create a sparkling luxurious feeling.Scarlet saw Morden Chandelier that dangled over the large king-size bed, the floor was carpeted by a plush silvery grey carpet that practically felt soothing beneath her feet. She inhaled deeply, waking up in such a room would be like walking up inside a storm cloud. She nodded her head eulogistically. At least, another good thing came out from this undesired matrimony. “It’s has bee
