Chapter Eight

That night, Kimberly had just left the office area. She was again busy with a lot of work. A lawyer in such a large company should at least have an assistant or secretary. However, I'm unsure of her boss's perspective on this matter. Kimberly was not given any assistants or secretaries.

"What's a company this size going to lose by adding one more employee to its law firm division?" grumbled Kimberly, rubbing the back of her neck, which was aching.

"That polar man is really torturing me," she grumbled.

The elevator doors opened wide, and Kimberly took her steps out of the square room. She walked towards the building's lobby because Richard had told her earlier that he was waiting for her in front of it.
