Chapter 6

On the set of The Good Doctors

Paul Bearer just came in the set and saw Isabella standing by the window, so he walked towards her. "Hey, Good morning beautiful! what's up with you today? You seemed pretty off. I'm not used to that!" he said with a very confused look.

"Oh hi, Pauly! Well, It's because of my aunt. She was brought to the hospital last night because she fell off the stairs and I was the one who did her operation. It all went well! But unfortunately, someone came to her room and injected something into her! I don't really know what to do. I know that my boyfriend is doing something about it but, I'm still worried about her."

"I'm sorry about your aunt, I hope she recovers soon! But have I heard it right, You have a boyfriend? Since when did you start dating?" he was hoping that he misheard what she said because ever since he met Isabella he had a crush on her and when they start working he's slowly falling for her.

"Yup! You heard it right. He is the son of my aunt, and he is a Captain in the military. We just started dating last night." she replied.

"Oh!" then he just nodded.

His hurt was crushed in small pieces. He loves her, but he promised himself that he won't ask her out until their series ended so that if anything happened to their relationship it won't affect their work. It just came to his thought that he really messed up! He liked her too much to let go of her.

"So how about this, let's focus on our work now so that you can already go back to the hospital to check up on your aunt and I'll bring you there later! Are you okay with that?" he asked.

"Thanks, Pauly! You're the best guy friend ever. And yup, I'm okay with that! Let's start acting now". She was very happy whenever she's with Paul. For her, he was the brother she never had.

The episode for today's shoot was very intimate. It was the honeymoon night o Dr. Tristan and Dr. Irene who were played by Paul and Isabella. The first scene was so intense that even the staff are in awe. Paul and Isabella were removing each other's clothes while passionately kissing the scene takes place in the bathroom while both of them are going into showers after the wedding. The heat when up after the shower scene, it was when Paul started to lay Isabella on the bed while they continue kissing. The kiss was very wild that they even use their tongues. When the viewers already watch this scene they would tell that these two are in a relationship in real life because their chemistry was really good. With just one take they nailed the first scene.

The second to the fifth scene was shoot in the hospital where you could see how they treat their patients and how they adjust from their normal life to their work life. They started shooting from 9 in the morning and ended at 3 in the afternoon. When she got out of her dressing room she saw 2 bodyguards. She asked John the driver that was assigned to him by Carter who these guys were.

"They were also sent by Captain Reid to protect you," he said.

"Oh I see," she replied. She doesn't want to be followed by anyone every day. She's from a well-known family but guards and drivers are not for her! She's rich but she never brags about it. Isabella is very simple. She wants to live her life as normal people do. So after asking John she excused herself and got her phone to call Carter. After four rings, Carter picked up.

"Hi, beautiful! So how's the shoot? I'm sorry I wasn't able to drop you off your shoot day. It's just that you know I need to investigate what happened to my mom!" he asked. He was sad. It was their first of dating but he didn't have time for her. He wished to be with her right now.

"The shoots fine, we got it in just one take. I know your busy and even if we're together you don't have to drop me off every day at work. Anyway, that's not why I called you. I have to tell you something and it's about the guards you sent me." she said in an angry manner.

"What about them?" he asked in a confused tone.

"I'm sorry but I don't like them to be sticking around me all day. I wasn't used to this kind of treatment and I will never be. Please stop this. I know that you're just looking after me but I'm a grown-up woman and I can take care of myself. Please?" she pleaded. Many other girls will be moved by this kind of gesture from a man but not Isabella. She was not born to become diva-like.

"I just want you to be safe. But if you don't want to then fine. I'll call them!" he replied, though he didn't want to agree he just followed want she wants.

"Thanks, baby! I'll see you later. By the way, Paul have you remember him? Anyway, he's my co-actor and he'll drop me off at the hospital today. So I won't be needing John as well. See you. Bye, baby." She replied.

But before he was about to say a word, she already ended the call.

Paul? Who is he and he will be the one dropping off today at the hospital? Was he the one kissing her on the series last night? God, I hope not! he told himself. He can't stop thinking about Paul and Isabella so he picked up his suit and grab his keys and went straight to the hospital wishing to see them both.

When he arrived in front of the hospital he saw the two who were standing at the entrance. He stands behind the crowd so that they won't see him.

"Hey, thanks for the ride again Pauly! Are you sure you don't want to go upstairs? I think my dad's also there. He would love to see you, you're his favorite remember?" she said in a very soft and sweet voice. If anybody could see them, they might think that these two were a couple.

"I wish I could stay but I still have something to do at home. Please tell Uncle Steve and Aunt Sandra I'll visit them on Friday. Plus I think this is not the right place to catch up on them since your Aunt was still recovering from what happened earlier." he replied happily.

"Yeah, you're right! Anyway, I'll see you the day after tomorrow! Bye and thanks again Pauly" she replied.

They hugged each other. While hugging goodbye, Isabella suddenly saw Carter who's angrily staring at them.
