Chapter 44

After Karen had been kicked out Axle went back to his office where he had left Ember with a huge file that contained all the information that she needed to know about the company(well most of it). He entered his office and he closed the door. He noticed that Ember was bored to death. He didn't blame her, it was boring going through all that but she had to because he had much bigger plans for her. Ember looked in his direction as soon as she noticed him. She was happy that he was back and that he would keep her busy instead of reading that huge boring file filled with words.

"Axle, where did you go?"She asked.

"I had to take care of some business downstairs."He said, kissing her on the cheek and then he sat down next to her. "That reminds me I am having a meeting with the board members of this company and I feel like that's the perfect opportunity to introduce you to them." He said.

"As your personal assistant?"She asked.

"No as something else."He said.

"Your wife?"

"No, you'll find ou
