Stella got up at midnight, lifted the quilt, and stepped barefoot out of the room and into the study.

Clarence had thrown the contract and bank card into the garbage can, and she discovered them. When she received them, she was overcome with tears. Clarence was an idiot. He threw these things away without even glancing at them, but she took them back. He didn't appear to care at all when he gave her them.

These things weren't originally hers. But when Stella witnessed his lack of interest, she couldn't help but become angry. There was a sad sob in the dimly lit study.

After a moment, she dried her eyes and returned to the room with the bank card and the contract, pretending nothing had occurred. Next day, she made time to visit the mall in search of Lisa.

"Lisa , how much is our mall worth?"

"Why are you asking this suddenly?" scowled Lisa.

"I'm merely curious about the mall's worth. Could you please inform me?"
