Stella had no idea what was going through Riley’s head. She immediately went back to the Conrad residence after her breakup with Riley.

Upon going back to her room, Stella saw that her small bed was gone. Her expression shifted abruptly. She had to sleep outside or on the floor when she first arrived to the Conrad residence.

Joseph later sent her a little bed so that she could sleep soundly because he presumably felt that she was too miserable. However, the small bed vanished without explanation, causing her to become anxious. She pondered whether Clarence had abruptly lost her temper and taken away her bed.

She was lost for words as she stood there. Two maids entered abruptly and greeted her. "Mrs. Conrad."

When Stella heard this, she snapped out of her reverie and turned to see that her clothing were being held by them.

"What are you doing?" She furrowed her brow and said before glancing at where the bed was placed, "Are you packing up my things?"
