CHAPTER 2

ALFRED's POV

I pressed the button on the remote as I closed the car. I walked into my father's mansion. There were several guards guarding the entrance. They stopped when they saw me and one who wore a more serious look on whispered to the other before they finally freed the way for me. The scanning machine scanned me and I rolled my eyes as if I could bring harm to my own parents. I pressed the security code to go in and the main door opened for me. I smiled as I saw that no one was in the living room. I was about going upstairs when a voice stopped me. I turned back to see mum and dad standing in front of me. I sighed and smiled.

"Hi,Mom! Hello Dad!" I said and went to peck them.

"I called for you earlier where were you off to?!" Dad asked and I let out a sarcastic smile.

"I went somewhere, Dad." I said.

My parents are not the strict type but they like their instructions being followed.

"So, how's was Australia?" Mum asked.

"It was fine, it was great and it was exciting," I answered.

"I missed you so much, son!" She said and hugged me while I pecked her.

I love my mum so much, she's my weakness and I'll do everything in the world for her. She smiled and we disengaged.

"I missed you too, mum." I replied.

"Alfred!" We heard a tiny little voice call. It was my little sister Irene.

I chuckled as she jumped into my arms and I hugged her tightly. After my mum, the next person I love and doted on is my little sis. She's my only sibling that why I love her so much.

"I missed you!" She said and Dad and Mum chuckled.

"But you are quite a big girl now!" I said still carrying her in my arms.

"Yes, I'll be 12 soon. I'm so glad, Alfred that you were able to make it to my birthday cause you've missed my past birthdays!" She said sadly.

"Don't worry, I bought you a birthday present in advance," I said and she smiled.

"Alfred we need to talk to you after you are done with Irene, cause we know you won't want to leave her!" Dad said and took his leave.

"I really missed you, son !"Mum said and pecked my cheeks and left.

Now it's time to play with little Irene.

KIMBERLY POV

I got home, I brushed my hair and changed my clothes. I washed my red swollen and puffy eyes. That bastard I will surely repay him. Kathie texted me that she needs to see me urgently. That girl, I just left her house now. I took my phone and headed to the gate. I decided to board a cab but I was shocked seeing Andrew leaning on the gate.

"What are you doing here?!" I yelled at him.

"Kim!" He called and rushed up to me before he knelt down.

"Kim I'm still in love with you!" He said and held my hands and I rolled my eyes.

"I love you a lot! I never meant what I did. Just forgive me and let's get back together!" He said.

Just forgive you? In your dreams!

"Let go of my hands!"I said coldly.

"No ,please!" He said.

I guess, it's time to show him what crazy kim does. As he forgotten I'm very skilled in martial arts. He stood up and sighed. Before he knew what was coming I flipped him over on the floor. I glanced coldly at him as he groaned in pains. I hissed and left him there groaning In pains.

ALFRED POV

I sighed as I operated on my laptop. I was working on a project Dad asked me to work on urgently for him. I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I said and the door opened revealing Mum.

"Oh, mum.." I said and closed the laptop.

"I want to talk to you about something," She said.

"Go on," I urged her.

She took in a deep breath and held my hands.

"I'm doing this because I love you so much my son," She said and I furrowed my brows.

What's she trying to say?!

"As you want know you are going to work your dad's company as the CEO."

"Hmm," I said and nodded.

"And as a man, the future CEO of The Swarts group of company and also the president's son. You need a queen by your side," She said and I sighed and touched my forehead.

"I'm doing this for your sake," she said and held my hands.

"For your future," she added.

Another thing she said and I furrowed my brows.

"There's someone I want you to meet. Her name is Kimberly. She's a famous singer in USA and very popular also in Australia. She's my friend's daughter," Mum said.

"Mum, what are you getting at?" I asked her.

"I arranged your marriage with her," she released the bombshell.

"WHAT?!" I screamed. "No, Mum! I disagree," I said as I stood up.

"I'm not ready for any commitment," I added furiously.

"Calm down, Son. I just..." she pauses and a tear dropped from her eye.

"I just want to see you happy, Son. I'm sorry if you think I'll ruin your life," She said and stood up as more tears poured down her face. I hate seeing her crying.

"Mum, stop crying. I'll do it!" I said and she hugged me.

I'm in big trouble.

KIM's POV

"So you mean we have to find another investor for the new York relaxation park project," I asked Kathie.

"Yes, K. We need to find an investor urgently. Remember we lost all our investors due to your craziness," She said and we both chuckled.

"Almost 5 investors but we lost them, well you can't blame me. They were all jerks. They tried to flirt with me in one way or the other. The first one Isaac tried to harass me, but I splashed hot coffee on his face. The second one did the same and ended up badly beaten by me. The third one ended in the police custody. The fourth one suffered most, because I added chill pepper to his drink. We need to find one before my dad finds out," I said and sat down.

Just then my Phone rang. It was my Dad. I smiled and answered the call.

"Hello, Dad?" I said excitedly.

"Kimberly," He called. "I need to see you ASAP!" He said.

"Alright, Dad!" I said and hung up.

"What's the problem?" Kathie asked.

"It's nothing but Dad said he needs to see me urgently. He seemed so serious. I don't understand what's happening," I said.
