CHAPTER FIFTY-TWO

“Why am I feeling strange?” Ashley yawned as she lay on her bed falling asleep immediately.

Knock knock

“I have been knocking for a while now, why weren't you talking or opening the door?” Alan asked when he opened the door after he knocked for a while and got no response.

Yawning “I just woke up,” She said in a groggy voice rubbing her eyes.

“How are you?” He asked, positioning his hands inside the pants of his pocket.

“I can't remember being sick. You are ready for work. I will make you breakfast” She said getting off the bed and heading to the bathroom.

“Here you go,” Ashley said, placing a plate of bacon, egg, and cheese in front of him.

“Thank you, sit and join me,” Alan said, tapping the chair beside him.

“No, I don't feel like eating anything now, I will sit and watch you eat,” Ashley said, frowning lightly, sitting beside him.

“Just a little Ashley, one spoon,” He said, passing a spoon to her. Ashley attempted to eat the food when she felt a surge from her stomach
