CHAPTER FIFTY-FIVE

Alan stood in the living room glancing at his wristwatch as he waited for Ashley to come.

“Sorry for keeping you waiting” Her tiny voice called out while Alan turned around glancing at her. She wore a satin cocktail dress outfit and a pair of slipper heels, she left her hair cascading down her shoulders with mild makeup on her face to cover her eye bags.

Extending his hands to her “Gorgeous as always” He exclaimed softly.

They headed to the reservation that Alan had booked for them.

“This place is beautiful,” Ashley gushed. Alan booked a private diner, rose petals were scattered all over the places, soft music was playing in the background, and everywhere looked beautifully decorated.
