I was currently in our room, Evolet sleeping peacefully beside me as I lit up a smoke while reading a book.

Just then, I received a phone call, causing me to answer it even though I was curious on who it was.

“Hello?” Tanong ko nang masagot ko ang tawag.

“I saw Dean leaving.” Sagot niya.

“What did I tell you?” I asked again. “Diba sabi ko tigilan mo na ang pagma-manman?”

“This is serious, Theo.” Sagot niya muli. “I saw him leave with boxes, and I saw Emy begging him.”

“What the fvck does that mean?” I asked confusingly.

“Maybe he’s leaving her?” He answered unsurely.

I smirked. “Book me a flight to Florida, and trace that bastard.”

“I’m just going to talk to him.” I plainly answered. “Update me if you successfully booked one.”
