Chapter 25: A pack and a Second chance?

It has been four years since I left that orphanage and I joined a pack. My kids and I were safe and we lived happily. The small pack named Lapis Lazuli accepted us without any doubt.

Alpha and Luna treated my kids as their grandchildren and promised me if they pass away, Eion will inherit the pack. Due to birth complications and most of the pack members were elderly, my kids were the joy of everyone. The pack was located far away from big packs. In fact it’s close to the sea. Often Eion would swim and sometimes fish along with the aged Alpha.

Today, the sky was grey and there was constantly threatening rain. It seemed fitting, however, as if the Moon Goddess wanted to cry with us. I for one, had already cried. I cried more than I thought anyone could. Rogues didn't attack packs anymore; we had been at peace for years now.
