My father and I were resting quietly when my mother came limping back into the room. She had a huge smile on her face, but it was clearly being faked for my benefit, because I was sure that I saw her wiping tears from her cheeks as she came through the door.

"Everything okay, dear?" my father asked her with a knowing look on his face.

"Fine, Maxwell, everything is fine," she said as she nodded in his direction and slid back onto the bed next to me. I knew without a doubt that they were hiding something from me because she always put on such a big "it's all okay" act that even a child could see right through it.

"Mother, what is going on?" I looked her straight in her eyes and asked her as frankly as I could.

"Everything is fine dear," she said while she played with my hair and stared away into space.

"Julie, why don't we go and get some fresh air?" Maxwell asked her with a smile, and a very irritated look in his eye. She quickly agreed and struggled to pull her aching body back out

  • The Bride He Didn't Want   Welcome To Our House

Daniel and his father were locked in a heated argument when I was led through the back door and up the servant stairs of the exquisite mansion. "I'm not going to do it, father! I am not a piece of furniture that you can just trade off for business!" I heard Daniel shout at his father. "I have feelings, wants, and needs. I'm a human being you know?!" He screamed in utter disrespect."You will do as I say, or you will learn to live on your own. This matter is not up for debate!" His father shouted back "And If you must carry on with that dim witted, slutty actress, then you can keep her as a mistress. Just don't procreate with that idiot, I don't need any ugly red headed grandchildren running around here!" He demanded shamelessly."Other than that, I really don't care what you do with her!" He said in a disgusted tone."However, you WILL marry Stella." His father retorted angrily at his defiant son, his face becoming redder by the second. Hearing them fight like that made all of th

The music stopped and everyone was either startled or aggravated. Either way, it got really quiet. All that could be heard was the panicked, pitiful voice of the crying woman on the other side of the door. Daniel looked around at his family in a desperate manner, and then he locked eyes with me. After a few more seconds, he dropped his eyes to the floor and took a deep breath, just before he turned to open the door. "Don't you dare open that door," his father warned him through clenched teeth, with a serious look in his eyes. Daniel stopped and looked at his father directly in his soul, with his hand still on the doorknob. He opened his mouth to speak, but before he could, a woman that I assume is his mother, stepped forward from behind them somewhere and interrupted him. She was a small woman with sun kissed Irish skin. She was over fifty, but she still had the most beautiful deep auburn hair that you ever did see. She was dressed in a navy blue, floor length gown, with a bustle.

I have no idea how long I have been asleep. I just remember slowly coming into consciousness. My stomach felt sick, and everything was spinning. My head was also pounding like a sledgehammer on concrete. I tried to open my eyes, but they wouldn't cooperate. I felt like holy ass hell. I tried to speak, but my mouth was so incredibly dry that I couldn't even swallow. I felt completely hung over, but I don't remember drinking anything at all. I started to get scared, I just couldn't remember where the hell I was, or exactly what had happened to me. That's when I heard the voices talking to each other. I recognized them immediately, it was Daniel and that mean ass old bitch of a maid. "I know you were concerned about Catherine and the baby, but damn it Daniel, did you have to hit her like that?" The maid asked in disbelief. "I may have to marry her, but I don't have to like her," his salty voice replied. "Well I guess you have a point, but that doesn't seem very fair to Missy here," s

"I will absolutely not accept this, Edgar!" Stella's father raged at Daniel's father. The two had taken a leave from everyone else, and were having a pow wow in a private office. "I am truly sorry, Maxwell, I really am. I had no idea that Daniel was going to behave this way. We didn't raise him like this, it's that bitch Catherine, she's all inside of his head." Edgar apologized to his old friend profusely. "Did you happen to see what I saw in that room just now?" Maxwell asked incredulously, "I will not leave my daughter here to be subjected to a life of abuse. You're lucky that I don't have your whole family killed right now! I cannot tell you how pissed off I really am at the moment," Maxwell raged on. His face was bright red and he had huge veins bulging from his forehead. "You will just have to pay me back in the same way that I helped you in the first place, and don't you dare sit here and cry poor to me!" Stella's father roared. "I know good and well what you are worth Ed

"Really?" The enraged woman asked them incredulously as she lowered her eyes at them and put her hands on her hips, taking a stance of total disapproval. "This, this! This is what you're doing right now?" Julie shouted and pointed at them in total disbelief. "Calm down, darling, we were only just getting started," Edgar said as he sat up and handed his wife the throw blanket that was draped across the back of the couch. She immediately covered herself, but then she looked totally horrified, as she realized that he was still completely naked from the waist down…and he still had a raging hard on. "Edgar," she tried to interject, to no avail at all, because he just kept right on talking, like he didn't even hear her. "This is absolutely absurd!" Julie shouted as she pointed at Edgar with malice in her eyes. "My daughter is lying in there completely fucked up from the floor up…and you are in here getting laid?!" She shouted at the top of her lungs, while she seemed utterly oblivi

  • The Bride He Didn't Want   We'll Get Through This

Daniel pulled up in front of the hotel that his father owned in the city, it had been a long drive and he was tired as hell. He told Catherine to wait in the car while he went inside the lobby and straight up to the front desk. It looked as if the man behind the counter was not agreeing with him, and that worried her slightly. She watched as he shook his head angrily and pull out his wallet. He flashed his identification to the clerk, who quickly submitted and changed his tune. She chuckled a little when she saw the clerk drop his head and hand Daniel a key without saying anything else at all. Catherine watched as Daniel snatched the key from the clerk and then turned to come back to the car. He had a storm brewing beneath his dark green eyes, and he wasn't even trying to hide it. She didn't think that she had ever seen him look quite that angry before. His thick dark hair was disheveled and he still had blood on his rumpled up clothes. He didn't say a word as he made fast, wide ste

Just then another woman entered the bathroom, and she was talking on the phone. Amanda immediately recognized the voice and she froze in place, trying to hear what the other woman was saying on the phone. "Yes sir, I know, but she is in the hospital at the moment. Yes, I understand, but she has had a nasty fall and we just need a little more time to get her well," Julie could be heard explaining to someone on the other end of the line. Amanda couldn't believe her luck today. First proof about Catherine, now she had an inside look at how desperate Julie and Maxwell actually were, giving her the upper hand on knowing how to deal with all of this. "No sir, we don't have that kind of money, and thank you again for b

  • The Bride He Didn't Want   The Baby

As Amanda and Daniel were saying their goodbyes in the hallway, one of Catherine's body guards came out of the elevator looking frantic. He was sweating and not saying anything as he looked from one end of the hallway to the other, as if he wasn't exactly sure where he was going. Daniel recognized him as Alex, and asked him what the matter was, and why he was in such a hurry. All he could manage to say was, "Where is she? Where is Catherine?!" In what seemed like the most desperate voice that Daniel had ever heard. Daniel and his mother were both totally confused and suddenly became slightly alarmed as well, even though they had no idea why. "She's in there," the very stunned Daniel said, as he pointed his finger towards the room that they had shared the night before. "Why? What is going on?" he asked the frantic man in front of him, but it was too late, he had already disappeared into the room where they had just left Catherine. Daniel and his mother gave each other a puzzled gla

  • The Bride He Didn't Want   At The Hotel

Catherine and Daniel woke early the next morning. Daniel was instantly irritated to discover that she had wrapped herself around him in his sleep. He wanted to push her away, but his dick was extremely hard and it was throbbing, so he decided to roll her over and take her from behind instead. He felt a little bit bad about the way he had been treating her lately. He knew that he really did love her, but the sudden pregnancy thing just had him all out of sorts, and even a bit suspicious. He knew that they had been having a lot of sex lately, which was kind of odd by itself, because for the last few months before this episode started, she seemed to be trying to avoid being alone with him. On top of that, he knew how very careful he had been. He never had unprotected sex with her or anyone else because it was a strong tradition in his family not to have babies out of wedlock. His father and grandfather would cut him completely off over breaking that rule, and he had known that all of hi

  • The Bride He Didn't Want   At The Hospital

The hospital staff at the emergency room had already been notified of the incoming VIP's, so as the ambulance rolled in, way too hot, it was immediately swarmed with doctors and nurses. It was closely followed by two limousines, one containing Maxwell and the other containing Edward and Amanda. He was so damn mad at them right now that he didn't even want to ride with them, in fact, he couldn't even stand to be near them at the moment.Maxwell exited his car like a lion on the prowl. He was clean and crisp, and he was standing tall. He was also moving in a very slow, dominant way. What was worse, was the look on his face. He was very clearly angry, and he looked as though he was plotting the demise of the whole damn human race, as he casually made his way inside the lobby and up to the desk.Everyone in the parking lot and lobby watched and whispered amongst themselves. They were all curious about the two women who were getting all of the attention from the staff, causing all of the re

  • The Bride He Didn't Want   Lucas

Lucas sat alone at his desk in the dark, running his hands through his long, thick blonde hair. He had never been so heartbroken before in his life, and he wasn't in the mood to share it with anyone else yet. He just couldn't understand why she wouldn't just tell her parents that she would not marry this other guy, she didn't even know him for God's sake. Every time he closed his eyes, she was all he could see. He couldn't help but to wonder if everything they had shared for all those years was a lie. He put his head down on the desk and he began to sob. He knew it wasn't very manly at all, but his heart ached so badly at the moment that he just couldn't stop himself. His mind was reeling and he had all kinds of crazy thoughts running through it right then. He wanted to go find Stella's father and this guy Daniel, and he wanted to hurt them as badly as they were hurting him. He narrowed his eyes and imagined all of the brutal things that he wanted to do to these mother fuckers. That

  • The Bride He Didn't Want   I Didn't Consent To This

I slowly started to come to consciousness again at the sound of my mother's voice. My mother wasn't talking to me, but I definitely heard my mom somewhere in the room near me. I struggled against the pain in my head to open my eyes and focus. I did manage it after a few moments and then I tried to call to my mother to get her attention. That's when I heard Daniel's mother's voice as well. I thought it was interesting that they were here in this room alone together and my mother had not beat his mother's ass yet. "Julie, I'm going to make this right for you, I promise," I heard the other woman cry to my own mother."Amanda I don't know how either of us can do that now," I heard my mother say. "I know that you and your husband have done so much for us in the past, we owe you everything, really. I will go see my son right away. If you will still consider the marriage between him and your daughter, I will not only have them stay here with us, but I will assign her some personal maids an
