Chp 13 Pt. 5 Haley’s Decision

At the end of one of my meetings I feel Haley get incredibly sad. I wait to see if she will reach out to me but she doesn’t, instead Nick does.

“Alpha?”

“What’s wrong with Haley?”

“There were some girls in the locker room talking about Haley’s curse and how selfish she is to have mated with you.”

“Do you know who?”

“No they left before Ray and I left the men’s locker room but we could hear their whole conversation. Is this an opinion throughout the whole pack?”

“I am not sure Nick. We have yet to introduce her as the Luna so I am not even sure how they all found out about her curse. It’s not public knowledge. How is she?”

“She’s putting on a brave face. She’ll feel better after some music lessons.”

“Alright, but if anything else happens let me know and I’ll be right there.”
