The next month goes by quickly and there’s no hiding anything now. Everyone knows I’m pregnant.

All of us girls are thrilled. Between all of our families we are going to have five kids all within 1 year of each other. Kai is going crazy right now. He’s been trying to find a witch or someone that could tell the future that he would trust so that way he can know whether or not me and our child are in any kind of danger.

I’ve been confiding in Lux because I’m worried about how stressed-out Kai is. Their dad still hasn’t come back and I know it’s weighing heavily on Kai. There’s a knock on my door and I call out, “Come in!”

Lux walks into the room and smiles over at me. I can’t help but smile back at her, she has such a confidence since she got her sight and it’s incredible to see her like this. She says, “I need your opinion slash your permission for something.”
