I was now in my room, trying to take in what Sally had told me. The whole drama back there. The rage in Sally's eyes. It was possible that she was telling the truth, and at the same time, it was possible that she was being misled to believe that what she was telling was the truth.

I knew that I would be glad to realise that the child in Beverly's womb wasn't mine since I would easily cut all ties with her and be with Sally without any interruptions.

I suddenly remembered that Sally spoke about the video of what happened the day I was accused of fucking Beverly. I wondered if she now knew the truth. Were we cool right now?

I sighed deeply and leaned backwards. It didn't matter, after all. Sally couldn't trust me. Instead, she went ahead to confide in the person I hated the most in this world. Someone that she shouldn't be seen with.
