ABOUT A WEEK LATER

I walked around the production room with my hands placed behind my back. I had strictly selected the team who would work on this project to avoid a repetition of what happened the last time.

I was careful enough to make sure that there was no new member on the team. I wouldn't let the same thing happen twice under my nose.

While I paced the room with my hands tied behind my back, the door opened, and I was about to raise an alarm when I saw that it was Alicia.

She walked towards me with a file.

"The security I mounted outside the door, they are still there, right?" I asked Alicia.

"Of course," she replied. "They only let me in because they knew that I am part of the team."

I sighed and nodded. I made sure to mount enough security by the gate to avoid entertaining any foreigners. I didn't want anyone who wasn't in the team to come in.
