CHAPTER SEVENTY FOUR

ALEXANDER

The next day at the office, Clinton walked into my office with a document.

"Here," he said as he pushed the documents to me. "I found a few records from what you asked yesterday."

I took the document from Clinton and began to scan through it quickly as my eyes searched for keywords.

"So, it is true?" I asked Clinton.

"It is true," Clinton replied calmly. "Sadly, this is true. I wished it wasn't as well, but it is."

I sighed deeply and ran my hand around my face and hair. I felt so weak at that point.

"I'm sorry," Clinton apologised, seeing how weak the news made me.

I fell into my couch and buried my face in my palm.

"I'd be in my office," Clinton said and walked away from my office.

I picked up the documents and began to scan through them again. I kept gulping down saliva.

"How could my dad be so inconsiderate?" I questioned myself.
