Chapter 52

Later that evening, Mrs. Jenkins served Alexander, Celine, and Bryan dinner. They all sat down at the table and started eating.

"This is delicious, Mrs. Jenkins," Celine said.

"Thank you," Mrs. Jenkins said. "I'm glad you like it."

"I love it," Bryan said. "Can I have seconds?"

"Of course," Mrs. Jenkins said.

Bryan ate his second helping of dinner, and then they all sat back and relaxed.

"So," Alexander said. "We're going to be going away for our honeymoon soon."

"Really?" Bryan asked. "Where are you going?"

"We're going to Hawaii," Celine said. "It's going to be so much fun."

"I'm going to miss you," Bryan said.

"We're going to miss you too," Alexander and Celine said.

"But you'll be with Grandma," Alexander said. "And you'll have a lot of fun with her."

"I know," Bryan said. "I'm still going to miss you."

"We'll miss you too," Celine said.

They all sat in silence for a few minutes, just enjoying each other's company.

"I'm so glad we're a family," Alexander said.
