Chapter 79

Amelia stared out of the car window, her jaw clenched tight with fury. She had just left Andrew Reynolds' mansion, seething with anger and frustration.

She couldn't bring herself to voice her frustration to Henry. He had been kind enough to offer her a ride, but she didn't want to burden him with her troubles.

Henry, however, was not one to let things go unsaid. He turned to her, concern etched on his handsome features. "Are you okay?" he asked softly.

Amelia didn't answer. She simply continued to stare out the window, her jaw set in a firm line.

Henry sighed, frustration creeping into his tone. "Hey, I can't help you if you don't tell me what's wrong," he said, his voice growing louder. "I let you follow me, and you're still not saying anything. You've been mute since we left."
