As I drove to Gina’s place Kevin sent me a text.

Hope you arrived home safely 😘

I ignored him. I would have to block his number again. I thought.

I arrived at Gina’s place and pounded on her door.

“Hold the fuck on, damn it!” She yelled from within.

Her eyes widened when she saw me.

“Jan you are back! What’s wrong?” She asked as I rushed into the house.

“What is the strongest alcohol you have?” I demanded.

“Beer.” She said puzzled.

“Stronger.”

“I have wine too. What is going on? Didn’t you get the deal?”

“Get me the wine.” I said anxiously. I needed to get blind drunk.

Confused, she brought me a bottle of wine and two glasses. I grabbed the wine and drank nearly half the bottle.

“Easy,” Gina took it from me. “What is going on? Talk to me.”

I sighed and dropped into her armchair, putting my face in my hands.

“I am a terrible person Gina, I am doing the same thing I am hating Tony for.” I said depressed.

“What is that?” She asked.
