Throughout the drive home I kept thinking of ways to outsmart Tony. The answer was simple. Get hold of the video and destroy it. But how would I go about it? Every plan I thought of was unworkable. It looked as if I would have to end up dating the jackass!

I was tired and frustrated by the time I got home.

The smell that hit me as I opened the door made me pause. It was something burning no doubt, but what the hell was it?

Kevin came out of the kitchen.

“Babe you are late, where is your bag?” He asked.

It was then I remembered I was supposed to have stopped at home and got the rest of my stuff.

“I didn’t go home.” I told him.

“I understand. How was your, first- day-in-a-long-time, at the office?” He joked.

“Good.” I sighed. “ Great.”

I sank into the armchair and threw my head back.

“Hey,” he sat on the arm of my chair and began stroking my hair. “Stressful day?”

I nodded. “What are you cooking?” I asked.

“Mac and cheese.” He said proudly.
