"What now?" When John had suggested meeting outside, I had almost called him the hunchback of Notre Dame. Except the hunch bank was quite smart and John wasn't.
Okay perhaps that wasn't entirely true as I came to find out.
I had refused at first because the press attacks had worsened! I thought they had reduced for a while, but Avila found new pictures of me and her dear late husband, spread them all over the news like the attention seeker she was and now the nation was out for my blood again.
So freaking annoying!
I could barely leave the house, without being swarmed by reporters. So when John had suggested meeting at a cafe to discuss his findings on Avila and anything else to use against Adam, I had shot him down. Technically he deserved it. He hadn't said the important bit first.
