The day ended with Kiara ignoring Phoenix’s calls and messages, asking where she is. She walked on the streets of Garse, getting lost in her thoughts and in the crowd of people passing by, letting her feet take her wherever it goes, and wondering how her life turned to be this complicated just because of love. If only… If only she had not fallen for him in the first place, then everything should have been better and less complicated. It would have been just her, an architect, working in a company, having daily work routines, and not getting too much to think about her boss whom eventually she fell in love with. Tough luck!
Everything should have stayed in their places. No crossing of boundaries. No going beyond the limits.
But then, it already happened, and it is not like they can still turn back the time and fix it all up in the beginning just to avoid the complications off today.
