"Your husband got in a vehicular accident," hearing that, it felt like my whole world shattered.

If something bad happens to Kairos, it going to be my fault and his whole family will blame me for it.

"Hand the damn phone to me. I need to talk to my wife. You are scaring her by not telling her immediately that I am fine," I heard a familiar voice scolding the one that I was originally talking to on the other line. I heard another noise that I couldn't quite understand except for the fact that they were trying to make him sit still and Kairos wasn't listening to them. He was arguing, wanting to talk to me on the phone. A few seconds later I finally heard his voice from the other line.

"Baby, I need you to calm down. I am fine."

Instead of calming down. I panicked more after I heard those words from him. I know that man, he'd tell a lie if it meant I'd be at ease. His could be severed at the moment and he'd still fight with the emergency team so he could have the phone and talk to me.
