Christina’s POV

A smile lit up my face on seeing him and I pulled my arm out of Abby’s hold to embrace him warmly.

“Hi…” I drawled, still smiling when we pulled apart. “What are you doing here?” My gaze swept over him, to take in the three-piece suit he had on. He obviously couldn’t be a student here.

“What? You think I can’t be a student?” He feigned annoyance, but I swatted his chest and we both laughed.

“I came to see a friend and decided to get lunch before I leave but now that I think about it, it seems the universe wanted me to meet you,” He winked at me, and I was about to respond but then I heard a throat clearing behind me and I suddenly remembered Abby.

“Oh, I’m so sorry,” I turned to face her with an apologetic smile etched on my face. She smiled at me and I held her hand, ready to introduce her to Marvin. “Marvin, meet my friend, Abby, and Abby, this is Marvin Reid, Scott’s brother,”
