CHAPTER EIGHTY-EIGHT

I picked up the call and walked away from the place. I shifted to another corner and placed the phone close enough to my ear.

"Hello, Allison, " I heard my boyfriend's voice from the other end of the call.

"Hello," I replied.

"What have you done with Nora, yet? Honey?" He asked me.

"She's looked up in the room upstairs," I replied. "She's there with her kids."

"Are you out of your mind?" He shouted at me.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"I mean, how could you?" He questioned. "How could you leave her like that?"

"I am still lost!"

"You should have killed her," he fired.
