"Excuse us for a moment," I said to the James group, and he and the shareholders stepped outside the boardroom.

As soon as the door closed behind them, I turned to the shareholders.

"What do you all think of the offer?" I asked.

"It's a good offer," one of the shareholders said. "But I'm not sure if it's the best move for the company."

I nodded, considering the shareholder's words.

I pondered the shareholder's words, my mind racing. I wanted to make the best decision for the company, but I wasn't sure if this was it.

"My concern is that if we accept the offer, we'll be beholden to the James group," another said. "I'm not sure if that's a position we want to be in."

The shareholders nodded, some of them looking thoughtful and some looking concerned.

"I see your point," one of them said. "But what if we could get more out of the deal?" Another asked.

"What do you mean?" Another asked he was annoyed.
