Chapter Eighty Three

We arrived at the apartment complex a little over an hour later because we had to stop by a car rental place first. After exchanging pleasantries with the caretaker, she led us upstairs to the vacant apartment.

We got into the elevator and she pushed the button that would take us to the top floor.

“I promise you, Mr. Theo, you’re going to like it. It’s a very great opportunity as this area isn’t for the ordinary. I contacted you the moment the former owner moved out before anyone else could grab this opportunity because I don’t know anyone who could be worthy of a place like this besides you.” She gave a small laugh and Theo flashed her a polite smile.

The elevator opened to a large empty room. The caretaker stepped out first before Theo and I followed. As I walked further into the huge room, I realized that it was a condo. I became fascinated as I looked around the condo. I’d never been to one and I never imagined it to be that big.
