Chapter 122 "Red Line"

When Cassius went to work, he has dark half-circles under his eyes. He has hanging eyelids, redder and swollen eyes, paler skins and droopy corner of his mouth. It was as if he suffered restless night of sleep when it was just last night he deprived sleep.

All night, he blamed himself. He cried, remembering how his father died and how he survived after Astell saved him instead of Nadia.

‘This is all because of me,’ Cassius blamed.

If Astell did not save Cassius, then Nadia won’t be Harriet. She does not need to endure the hardships in the Fabroa mansion, either died in the end.

He couldn’t help but to pinpoint everything to him, which broke his heart. It felt like a wrecking ball has swooped in and destroyed his world, but he cannot pick up the pieces and put them together.

‘Where is my rights to fall in love with her when it was my fault that she suffered?’

He was impetuous. His mind all is all over the place, asking question he may never get the answers to.
