Chapter 120 "Resent No More"

When Cassius told Harriet that she is the child whom he met in the Avellino resort, bits of memories came back.

She remembered the tsunami which led her and Astell separated.

In the night where she slept, Harriet glimpsed at the past. As soon as the current washed away the log, her head hit on a branch which lost her consciousness. And that’s how she lost her memories.

Harriet opened her eyes. She was showering in sweats when she sat up with heavy breaths.

‘I remembered everything.’

From the day she learned how to speak and walk and the day she was washed away through the current, Harriet recalled everything. She vividly recollected the day she met the lonely boy and how he was desperately crying while looking for his father.

Harriet felt layers of unsettling emotion. It was as if her her heart has been ripped out and a sob crawled out in her throat like a vile of thorns. Retrieving everything was encompassing and soul crushing.

They say time heals all wounds. But it does not
