Chapter 43

Daisy paced in the waiting area of the hospital. Her arms folded against her chest as she gritted her teeth. One of her guards, Rose, ran towards her with a flash drive and a laptop.

She stared intently at her as soon as she arrived and said,

"Why are you just coming? What took you so long?"' She thundered at the guard.

"I'm so sorry ma." He apologized.

Daisy's eyes soon travelled around her face and in the corner of Rose's lip, she saw a cut and a blood stain. She also noticed that her face had scratch signs.

Rose hastily tried to cover it but it was too late because Daisy had seen it.

"What happened to you too? Why does your face look this way? And what is this cut on your lip?" Daisy asked, pointing at the guard's mouth.

"It is nothing too serious, ma'am. I was with Miss Sonia when the whole issue happened. We were both attacked." Rose began.
