The Killer

Early morning of the second day, Alex completed the discharge procedures for Avery. Although the doctor agreed to leave the hospital, he did say a lot of things.

Avery's body was never well, and her resistance and immunity to wind and cold were lower than normal people, so even a slight infection would cause her to have a high fever and not be able to leave.

Alex followed the doctor's instructions and gave him many pills that could increase his resistance, then he explained everything that the doctor said without changing anything. However, Avery was evidently not paying attention to him at all.

"Avery Foster, are you listening to me? Are you treating your body like it's nothing?" Alex was warm and angry.

Avery smiled and kept the clothes in her luggage. “Alex, did you forget? I am a doctor, and I will take good care of myself.”

"Yeah, right," Alex muttered indifferently, he picked up his luggage with one hand and left the sick room with her in the other.
