Go For A Walk

After returning to the hotel, Blake directly threw Avery into the bathroom, then went to the other bathroom to wash.

When he walked out of the bathroom, Avery had already called for her pajamas and was lying in the bedroom. Her body was still curled up, her back to him, motionless.

Blake dried his hair and lay down on the bed beside her. He then reached out and pulled her into his arms. Avery did not struggle, but his body had always been stiff. Furthermore, the temperature of his tentacles was shockingly cold.

He let out a faint sigh, placed his chin on her shoulder, and hugged her gently. However, Blake realized that he was simply unable to warm her.

After working continuously for many days with such intensity, Blake had long since been exhausted. When he woke up in the middle of the night, the place beside him was empty.

Blake got up and put on his clothes. He noticed that there was a small crack in the bathroom door that revealed a weak dim yellow light.
